I have been going to thundercloud my whole life and have never had a bad experience but this was the first time I have been to this location. There was literally almost no meat in my Austin club. I have never had that happen before. There was one sliver of meat. I knew something was off when I saw them barely put any Mayo on the sandwich and I can’t even taste the spicy mustard like usual. Service was good but I will not be going back to this location.

Ordered drive through. Texas tuna is supposed to already come with jalapeños I ordered 2 Tx Tunas, but one sandwich did not have jalapeños and I asked to add bacon on both sandwiches. There was no bacon. I ordered 4 sandwiches in total. Another sandwich was a GreenBLT. Two out of my family’s order had rotten avocado on their sandwich. This by far the worst, most disgusting Thunder clouds I have ever been to. Let this be a warning to other future customers.

The decor inside was kinda nifty, kinda crass, and I absolutely loved it. My first encounter at Thundercloud Subs ⚡ ☁️ the dude who made my sub was super friendly the whole time. He even gave me a history lesson on when the joint opened and of how many locations there are..etc He recommended the Texas Tuna which had jalapenos (and I think avocado) on it.

The wheat bread was fresh and had good flavor, but the Austin club needed a little more flavor. Maybe chipotle mayo or pepperjack cheese would have bumped it up to a 5 star review. I did appreciate the bottle of Big Red and Sour Cream and Onion chips, since most sandwich places don’t offer these. The price was very reasonable for a full meal- just over $10.

Came in with a huge order for 20 people and Keeta did a fantastic job making everything perfectly and happily. She and her team worked so well together and made me happy to try Thundercloud for the first time. Great job!
