Bridgewater has been in need of a solid Mexican restaurant and González is answering that need. My experience was exactly what I was hoping for — they 100% delivered.
The wait staff was pleasant, interior was clean and bright, and most importantly, the food hit the spot.
I ordered the street tacos and a fully loaded burrito. Both were awesome!
Support your local businesses and get your next meal at González. I’m sure anyone going to eat there will have a delightful experience as well.
You’re charging Chipotle taco prices for a lower quality taco than even they put out. There’s also no paper or foil to keep the tortillas from getting yucky and soggy in the take out containers.
Seems like y’all just reopened a under different cuisine with the same lazy quality and cheap service.
PASS ON THIS. Chipotle is better and that’s sad.
The big problem I have about this place is the price. Everything is on the expensive side, which would be ok if I got a bit more for what I’m paying for. My quesadilla is 16.99 and only came with a little bit of sour cream. Typically when I order quesadillas from other restaurants, I also get a bit of pico and guac. Maybe even a bit of rice and beans. At minimum I was expecting just even a bit of pico. For 17$ I think that’s reasonable. If the price were lower ($10-13) I’d still be a bit disappointed but would probably still order more often.
We got burritos here before that were 16$ each (pretty high price for a burrito) and again, it’s not a huge burrito and served with nothing else. Maybe some fries? Or some other side?
With fiestas right down the block where you can get a burrito/quesadilla for cheaper, pick whatever toppings you want and get a much larger burrito, it’s hard to make the case to come back and order from here.
If the prices were lower, or if I got a bit more for my money, I’d definitely order more and would give this place a higher rating.
