My oh my, send that Coconut Tai straight to my thighs! We ordered Coconut Thai in St. Paul through DoorDash and were seriously blown away. Everything arrived carefully packaged, hot, and intact like it had its own personal security detail. At first we thought it might be a little pricey, but after one bite we realized it was worth every penny and then some.

The Pad Thai legitimately changed my life. I had two massive plates and I am absolutely STUFFED… and somehow the container is still half full (pictured). It’s like one of those endless oil lamps from a Hanukkah miracle — it just keeps coming no matter how much I eat. Flavor was perfect, noodles cooked exactly right, and the portion size is borderline supernatural.

My wife got the pineapple fried rice and it was insanely good. Sweet, savory, perfectly balanced — I kept sneaking bites and almost regretted not ordering it myself. We both sat there in stunned silence for a minute just processing how good the meal was.

If this is what delivery tastes like, I can’t even imagine how good it is fresh in-house. Coconut Thai just jumped to the top of our repeat-order list. 5 stars without hesitation.

NEW FAVORITE SPOT FOR SURE !! Like I want to try one of everything on the menu .! I eat a lot of Thai food so that says a lot if it’s my fav. My boyfriend don’t even eat noodles but I made him try the chicken pad Thai and now he won’t give my bowl back. service was great . It’s a lot of food like the amount of chicken was crazy !

In St. Paul for business and had a craving for Thai. After looking at several places, I settled on Coconut Thai.
We were immediately seated at a small table for two. The place was busy but not packed.
The Curry Puffs and Spring Rolls caught my eye for starters. The Spring Rolls were fat, and the peanut dipping sauce was tasty. The Curry Puffs were a lot like samosas, but with a sweeter filling. They were smoking hot out of the fryer and had to sit for a few minutes before I could eat them. They came with a very interesting dipping sauce. The best I can describe is that it was like a mignonette with a hint of cucumber. Very good!
For the main course, we ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and Thai Basil Stir Fry with chicken. The veggies in the stir fry were plentiful and cooked just right. The chicken was good but not spectacular. The Pad Thai had good flavor but could have had some heat, and the shrimp was on the small side and a little overcooked.
The service was very good. The servers were attentive and friendly.

Walking up to the building, the aroma of the food cooking in the kitchen filled the air with the most delicious scents. I was greeted immediately upon entering -my order was placed online and ready to go on a Saturday afternoon within 15 minutes. The food was fresh aromatic and delicious. I’ve never been here before and this will be my new go to. I got the tofu spring rolls which were out of this world Fresh and delicious with all the flavors you want and ended up getting the red curry, which was plentiful a very large portion with a side of the rice, jasmine and some pineapple juice. I brought it to the summit overlook Park to have a little picnic, and my senses are delighted, and my tummy is pleased.

service was friendly and really quick, most dishes were fine. the spice levels are less intense than other thai places. only item i didnt like was the thai tea. too sweet for my taste, probably because of the coconut milk. highlight was the seafood tom yom soup, so much squid

I think the quality and flavors here are both better than the Edina site. Good Thai for sure. The spring rolls are fairly classic, a bit lite on the pork/shrimp, but good still. They come in two’s and cut in half. A basic savory/sweet dark sauce.
The Thai beef salad is pretty good, generally has the classic elements, though uses cucumbers, the dressing is lite, sweet and tangy as expected, the beef was not cooked in a sauce or caramelized as I have typically had it, still tastey. The yellow curry is a fan favorite of the clientele and probably one of their better curries, the green curry was prepared very classically and it was good. Not the best I have ever had, but solid. A good option for Thai if you are in the area on Grand. Service was very good. Almost every dish can be made Vegetarian and GF so a plus for dietary constraints

The food was excellent. Group of 8, we all got the curry and only had good things to say about it.
Don’t be afraid to order it spicy, it is definitely “Minnesota spice”, but if you say you want it extra spicy, they can definitely accommodate

How can you rate this place anything less than 5 stars! This restaurant is literally a hidden gem! I came here for the 1st time yesterday, due to craving a type of Chinese cuisine. We settled on Thai. I ordered the Thai fried egg rolls, and the yum soup. Our order arrived very quickly and the food was absolutely amazing. The soup was the best I’ve ever had. It was very flavourful. I would absolutely return!

Amazing Thai food! Everything comes hot and the portions are huge and totally worth it. Inside it’s clean, modern and a large space. We didn’t have a reservation for a Friday night but were able to get seated right away.

I started with a Thai iced tea and we (party of 3) shared the chicken satay as a starter. The iced tea was perfectly sweet and the satay, which comes with 4 pieces was delicious. For my entree I got the pad see yew with chicken. They have a spice scale from 1-5 with 5 being Thai spicy. I ordered a level 4 and thought it was the perfect amount of spice, but I usually handle spice well. The portion was big enough that I had plenty to take home. Our waiter was very friendly and checked on us often.

There’s street parking right on grand Ave or any of the neighborhood streets.

Overall an amazing dinner and I definitely see myself coming back!
