We were here for a team dinner. The restaurant is quite nicely decorated, but nothing to stand out. That is fine though – other things are more important.

The service was fine. Quite attentive, relatively friendly. The drinks were great!

The food, unfortunately, was just OK. I had shrimp tacos and they didn’t really hit any high notes. Nothing wrong or ill cooked, just a bit bland and like warm. Colleagues mainly agreed that it was “fine” or “good enough I guess”. Nothing really shone and it’s all about the food, right?

First off, the Cadillac Margaritas are EXCELLENT…
Side of guacamole to start with the complimentary chips and salsas(2).
Service was very friendly and professional…
Grilled Fish taco plate was tasty
Chili Relleno plate was delicious as well.
Presentation was neat clean and deceptive…the “scoops” of rice and beans seemed small but actually regular portion size.
Both types of rice were moist and flavorful. Beans were traditional and good.
Service dog friendly, as required, but otherwise not dog friendly. Although, for us, the service staff went out of their way to provide water and attention to my dog.
While I found the menu to be a bit pricey for Mexican food, I didn’t regret visiting and enjoying this establishment.
Note; four Cadillac Margaritas were half the total of the bill and as mentioned were well worth it.

I was in town for work. After a long, exhausting day I went for a walk and stumbled across this delightful Mexican restaurant. I ordered fish tacos and an ice cold Pacifico. It was just what the doctor ordered. The tacos were delicious and well seasoned and the beer was ice cold. Of course I pregamed with chips and salsa! My only complaint was I got full and didn’t finish! Our server was so cheerful and helpful.

Very good, but over priced, Mexican food.

Quick note on the service, it was strange. The flow of conversation between my friends and the waitress felt a bit off, like the timing wasn’t quite right; I can’t really explain it. Also, one of my friend’s dishes came out 10 minutes after we all got our food and his was cold, so I guess they just forgot about it.

Food wise, it’s good, but overpriced. Tortillas, I will say, are fantastic. They have to be freshly made because the flour tortilla for my BURRITO CAMPECHANO was super soft, warm and had a great chew you do not get from the premade stuff. The mix of steak and chicken played great off of each other and both were cooked well if you could search out an individual piece, but didn’t impart much flavor to the burrito as a whole. The dish ate like soft, warm, Mexican mush, a tasty mush, but there wasn’t any one distinct flavor to latch into and no variation in texture. As for the price, $22 for not coming with rice and beans feels cheep.

While the food at Frida is good, the prices can seem a bit hard to justify, making it hard to recommend.

A truly magical place! Best Mexican food, fantastic cocktails and the coolest, friendliest and funniest staff. I will definitely come back. We really need a Frida in Vienna/Austria too!
Gracias to the whole Frida-Team in Westwood and lovely Pablo!

Overall, satisfies those cravings for delicious Mexican cuisine. Guac was fresh, enchiladas were laid out perfectly with plenty of sauce (my favorite was the verde). The margaritas were the true highlight, for 14 dollars you get a strong pour and good flavor.

Service was warm and friendly. Had a really good ambiance especially at happy hour.

Tres leches cake could have been a little more saturated for my tastes.

Would definitely return for seconds. Seems like a very well thought out, locally owned establishment.

The food was good, and the service was just average, even though they were not busy. They say on their menu that the minimum charge per person is $20. I have never seen that one before, it seems weird .

I’m literally still sitting here and had to review because it’s rare a dining experience checks all the boxes.

Upon walking in, we loved the vibe and atmosphere. Classy but casual and perfect for any occasion.

Everyone we encountered who works here was wonderful. Everyone is attentive and most importantly, kind. Our waiter Arturo was especially delightful!

Everything from the chips and salsa to the shrimp tacos to the elotes to the spicy marg was delicious, authentic, and cooked/made to perfection.

In LA, the Mexican food is authentic and delicious.
Facility is very attractive, with moderate noise levels providing excellent guamole, soups, and traditional fare .
When in this area, a must stop in.

I ordered carnita tacos and a flan! It was super good and hit the spot. The service was great and the place was beautiful! A little on the pricey end, it was $30 per person if you ordered food and dessert. I had the lunch portion and it was more than enough food.
