First and foremost, this is a beautiful, family-owned establishment. Anyone looking to support a hardworking, honest family that truly cares about their community of Saluda should visit this restaurant and lounge. Secondly, the food is excellent. I had the chili dog special this past Tuesday. You simply cannot beat the quality and the quantity of the food that you get for such a small price. I was given two chili dogs, a large serving of French fries, and a sweet tea. The chili was mouthwatering – the perfect combination of savory and sweet. It made the hotdogs unforgettable. Additionally, the crinkle fries were cooked to perfection. Having worked in numerous restaurants myself, I am very picky about my fries. These were cooked for just the right amount of time, and they were cooked in clean fry oil. The family is always so welcoming and kind to me. This restaurant is an asset to Saluda, South Carolina. I truly hope that they are part of our community for generations to come!
