Unwelcoming. Underwhelming. Dry. Sad & Salty. I just wanted a nice meal on my birthday. Instead I WASTED money on unspecial rubbish and meager meat portions. I was considering hiring them for catering my wedding…and after my first impression, I would rather have ANYTHING ELSE. I was trying to introduce my husband to my culture through trying this “cuisine ” and I had to STOP HIM! Are you morally ok with charging Nearly $30 for 3 BARE BONES above potatoes swimming in oil? Embarrassing. This is as much Caribbean for Caribbean people as Taco Bell is for Mexicans. Shame on you. Caribbean card REVOKED.

UPDATE:I found a better place, I hope anyone who reads this tries CARIBBEAN SUNSHINE BAKERY . The oxtail and jerk chicken was much more for your money and the flavors were NOT fake ½-trash wannabe Caribbean-style Cuisine but actual flavors and spices that reminded me of Grenanda & Guyana ( my heritage)

The food was damn good — full of flavor, nicely seasoned, and cooked just right. I’d definitely order it again, but you really need to serve larger portions.

$20 USD fi 2 small food and a Bigga soda — it’s not bad, but honestly, I feel like I could get a bit more value for that price elsewhere. The portion size just didn’t match what I expected based on how it’s listed.

Also, you might want to update your DoorDash menu, because what exactly is “express serving”? When I ordered it, I thought I was paying for two large meals, since the label looked different from the “small” option. It was confusing, and I only realized after receiving the order.

Still, props to the chef — the food was on point! Just a little menu clarity and bigger portions, and it would’ve been perfect.

The service was top notch, told the cashier it was our first time there and he made us a sample platter to help us decide. Everything was delicious but we went with the brown stew. Price and portion are unmatched

Me and my significant other got the curry chicken and spicy beef patties. They were sooooo good. I love it! Gracie was nice and she gave us this bomb sauce to dip our patties in them. Yummmmm. Will be back.

I love love love Jam-Eng! I work downtown and eat there regularly. The service is always wonderful, and the food is always on point. I hosted a Juneteenth party at my house, and decided to cater from here. I got jerked chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, peas & rice, and plantains. They made me SO MUCH FOOD! And it was so good! We had about 50 people and they tore that food up and raved about it! And the prices are very fair! 10/10 recommend, and I will def be catering from them again!

Food was fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the jerked chicken sandwich. My guest had the curry chicken lunch and was a bit overwhelmed by the large portion—ended up enjoying leftovers for dinner! The server was very friendly and kindly supplied us with samples while we were ordering; later checked on us to make sure we were enjoying the meal. It was a little noisy the day we visited, because the doors were open for fresh air. Instead of fresh air, we found out a lot of people in Orlando need new mufflers . . . We will be back, probably for a to-go order!

Finding this place was such a treat, it is such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by the friendly staff. We tried several dishes from their menu, and I must say, everything was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites are the oxtail, the Jamaican Beef Patty, and the Mac and cheese. If you’re a fan of oxtail or curious, you really must try it here
– it’s cooked to perfection! And don’t get me started on their Jamaican Beef Patty – it’s so flavorful and the patties are always made fresh, they’re one of their most popular items. One thing to note, though – make sure you get here early because their patties are so good that they always run out fast! But even if you miss out on the patties, there are plenty of other amazing options to choose from. The Mac & cheese pairs really well with all of their entrees, but all of their sides are great.
The staff and manager were so sweet and passionate about what they do, which added to the overall experience. I can’t wait to come back and try even more dishes from their menu!

I have had this place a few times and the jerk chicken is always good. Decided to try some Mac and cheese this time as well and it was very disappointing. $5 for a small side of Mac and cheese that seemed and tasted like it was out of a Kraft box. Left much to be desired. Jerk chicken was still great though.
