The drinks are just as impressive as the food. The Popi Old Fashioned is a creative and refreshing twist on the classic, while the Thandai is a creamy, fragrant treat that balances out the spices perfectly. It is rare to find a spot that gets the food and the drinks so right, and we are already looking forward to coming back the next time we are in Rhode Island.
Taste wise food was okay for an Indian palette who craves for rich spice. But, nonetheless a worthy one time visit.
Thandai was good refresher for a hot summer day. We also got their dry fruit naan just to taste it was amazing.
If you are not taking up the thali, and if you wanna try different I would recommend it 10/10.
The menu is very diverse with so many great options, and the food was absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a meal.
Highly recommended if you are looking for great flavors and a warm vibe
Coming to the food, it was good overall, but I do feel there’s some scope for improvement. The curries had nice flavour, but the lamb and goat dishes turned out a bit stiff and chewy. The khichdi rice could have been cooked a little softer for that perfect comfort feel. The aloo paratha was tasty, though I had expected it to be like the typical Punjabi-style one — maybe that was just me keeping the bar too high! The chicken tikka masala was well-prepared and enjoyable. My friends tried the paneer and naan, and they found them good as well.
Our server Tita went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Every dish we tried was amazing — the paneer tikka kabobs were absolutely delicious, and the baked samosas were a healthier take that I actually prefer over the fried version. The chicken biryani was packed with rich, flavorful spices, and the kesar pista kulfi for dessert was the perfect sweet finish.
Highly recommend this place for comforting, flavorful Indian food and outstanding hospitality!
