Food was great i had ceviche very good, My wife had the aguachiles and the shrimp was a little over cooked in lemon other then that it was good, chicharrones snak were great. Now on the ortherhand service was poor thats why i gave it a 4 star 10 minutes to be seated with only a few customer on tables, after they brought our food we dint see the waiter againt until they brought us the ticket, i had to be getting up to asked them for condiments.

First time eating here, my wife and I really enjoyed the food. We first tried the Chingo Chicharrones. They are hot and crisp, arriving popping at the table. The portion is huge (see photo). I would have liked some guac with them as the pico, since the pico, while nice, isn’t enough for all the chicharrones. Took half home, and they were great the next day. But the star here is the fish. We had the Ahi Plate, which was amazing! It’s very fresh and tasty Ahi Tuna, avocado, pico, pineapple (which really works so well here), and two great sauces: Habanero Mayo and a spicy honey sauce. Wow, this is a great dish! They serve very good horchata, too. Our server, Sabrina, was very attentive. Sat in the lovely patio with our three dogs, so points for being very dog-friendly. We will go back and try more fish dishes, like Ceviche and another of our favorites, Aguachile.

This was my first time going to Tacos & Shell-ah’s for brunch and they did not disappoint! I’ve been to most spots in Las Cruces for brunch and Tacos & Shell-ah’s may have the best Chilaquiles in Las Cruces.
My table tried several items: Dulce de Leche Pancakes, various chilaquiles, and the Cafe de Olla. Everything was excellent! Service was great, food was delicious, and everything was reasonably priced. I absolutely see myself going back for brunch very soon!

Tacos were fantastic and hit the spot! I opted for the Carne Asada and Chicken Tacos, and they were delicious. They also have some seafood options that looked great, so I highly recommend trying them as well.

My husband and I absolutely love Tacos & Shell-ah’s, it’s easily one of our favorite spots in town. We recommend it to everyone we know! The service is good. The atmosphere is nice. The food is great. It does confuse me as to why fries is the side with tacos but I love fries so I just think of it like if I’m eating while pregnant and eating my cravings haha
I’ve only tried the Perrones and Chori-Pina without the pineapple and I’m hooked mostly on the Chori-Pina minus the pineapple. I wash it all down with horchata that comes served in a glass jar. I recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t yet.

Food tastes great however pricey for the portions, customer service is one of the worst in Las Cruces. Not accommodating. Not welcoming when you walk in, they look mad that you walked in, do not say hi and will ignore you until they are ready to sit you down.
I called to place an order in advance so that it would be ready upon my arrival, allowing me enough time to eat during my limited lunch break. However, the receptionist informed me that phone orders are exclusively for takeout. She stated that if I wished to dine in, I was required to place my order in person.
Despite my explanation that I was in a hurry and could not wait the standard 15–20 minutes for table service, she remained unaccommodating. As a result of this interaction, I chose to take my business to another local restaurant. Then I emailed them expressing my disappointing experience and it remained unanswered. I will not return.

The food here a perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The food prep and presentation is phenomenal. I’ve rarely seen such beautiful plates. Delicious. And the staff is super friendly and enthusiastic. Didn’t know what to order but Gema was more than happy to share her favorites and suggestions, which were amazing.
Also, the hand painted artwork throughout the restaurant is beautiful.
