We did not stay at the inn. The following review is for the bistro only.

TLDR: it’s delicious, go.

As with anything Bill owns, I would give the atmosphere more stars if I could. The restaurant is decorated so perfectly! He did not miss a single detail. It is fairly small, but he made great use of the space and there are several tables as well as some “comfy” seating with a coffee table.

I had the Italian club sandwich and a soup flight.

The sandwich was 10/10 amazing!! It had the exactly perfect amount of pesto-mayonnaise. I detest when the mayo takes over the sandwich and is dripping out all over. This was not like that at all. There was enough to add flavor, but it didn’t overpower the sandwich. The bread was crunchy, the meats were delicious and the veggies were fresh. (Keep in mind, this is real food, made to order. It isn’t fast, it’s delicious; you don’t get both. That being said, it didn’t take an excessive amount of time.)

The soup flight was cute and I love the concept. Who doesn’t want to try all the soups? I got 4+ ounces each of: lobster bisque, potato soup, squash soup, and vegetarian black bean soup.

I really wanted to love the lobster bisque, but sadly, it was not for me. I’m not really sure why. I tried it a few times and just didn’t like this one.

The potato soup was good. It’s creamy and VERY thick. If you’re looking for comfort food, this would be a great one to order. My husband got a cup of it and really enjoyed it.

The squash soup was my second favorite, which surprised me as it is quite sweet, not savory as I was expecting. The consistency was perfect. It was mostly blended but had just enough bits in it to give it a good texture. It may have been vegetarian, I’m not sure. There wasn’t meat in it, but I don’t know what the other ingredients are.

By far, my favorite soup was the vegetarian black bean! OMG this one knocked it out of the park for me!!! I even did an audible “MMMMMMM” in the restaurant. This was the costar to the sandwich. I can’t even tell you why I loved this one so much, but I scarfed it down first and made sure there was none left! I really should have gotten some to-go, I know I’m going to be craving it. Stupid afterthoughts.

I was slightly disappointed that white chicken chili is on the menu, yet not available every day.

I felt the prices were very fair for a small-town restaurant and the value was definitely there.

The location is convenient in the downtown area with plenty of free parking available on the street.

It appeared to be wheelchair accessible.

There were several vegetarian options.

This is NOT a place I would take children. The ambiance is definitely adult. If you want to meet your bestie for a glass of wine, this is perfect. Date night would be great (even to treat yourself and go alone), but please, leave the kids home for this one.

Caleb was a great server and very attentive.

A lot of the staff are very young, but they are doing a great job! They all smiled, greeted us, made sure we were taken care of and were very polite.

The leftover containers appear to be compostable which I appreciate. I do wish they had an option for a flight of soup with a half of a sandwich. Both was too much, but I think the soup, alone, wouldn’t have been enough. I’ll happily eat the leftovers, though.

Overall, I loved it! I have been wanting to dine here for quite a while but something always seems to come up. This experience did not disappoint. We will go back, for sure!

Kudos to Bill, Caleb and the rest of the staff.

This is such a delightful place to enjoy birthday cocktails ahead of a delicious charcuterie board and flight of soups.

The owner has done a fabulous job creating a chic ambience that makes it seem you’re at a very special getaway. The subtle music, and bistro environment made for a perfect evening.

I look forward to returning again soon.

Ate here today! The soups were… SO GOOD. We had their lobster bisque, white chicken chili, and soup of the day which was squash. We also tried their white fish dip appetizer and a couple sandwiches. We will definitely be back, the atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming.

We’re grateful that finally we have a very sophisticated food and drink establishment just next town from where we live. Atmosphere are sublime with the touch of European theme for interior, very well planned and lots of attention for details. We had soup, charcuterie board and sandwich. Although we’re on our vegan diet, our server was very gracefully accommodating our needs with what they can served. Definitely will make another visits in near future.
