Excellent hospitality from Julien and friendly and professional service from Tracy. From start to finish we had an excellent dining experience.
The food was really the best that I have had! The meal from our starters to our desserts were well prepared and plated perfectly. The french onion soup was simply superb and balanced beautifully with its flavour. As for our steaks!! No words can do them justice, served with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then crepes for dessert serenaded in an orange sauce with vanilla icecream – magnificent.
Pet friendly, our little dog was given chilled water in a bowl and a very special treat from Julien.
Verdict – a very well deserved 5 STARS!

A bit of an up market restaurant in the area. For locals the price range will be higher then other restaurant options.
The food is good and tasty but with slightly smaller portions then your average dishes at other places. They do charge for everything extra whether it be rice at around R45 or a bread roll with the mussel dish at round R45 too. The rice and roll were ok in size. The rice is a curry rice however so you are aware.
The display is pretty on the plates and food is fresh and tasty.
Outdoor tables are available which is great in the summer.
The service with drinks could been a little faster but other then that would eat there again if needed.

I celebrated my birthday there. The atmosphere was to die for. Plain simple, but with white table cloths and serviettes. Soft French music in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food; oh the food! I loved it. I had the Kingklip special which was out of this world and the desert did not disappoint either. The chef came by to say hello. All and all; a great restaurant. I will definitely be back.
