These are some HUGE slices of pizza. This was my 1st experience here and I’ll definitely return for another slice, just this time with extra cheese. Cool guy’s that work there. Personable and easy to convey what you want without attitude.

A friend brought my daughter a cheesesteak and I tasted it the NEXT day and it was delicious! I am eating a just made one now and it is even better. Do NOT hesitate to come if you’re looking for a really fantastic cheesesteak!

As somebody not from Philly who did the tour of cheesesteak places to get the best one, this is genuinely the best cheesesteak we had. Owners and workers are super nice as well, and their pepperoni pizza slices are huge and can make New York jealous. Definitely recommend!

Lazaro’s Pizzeria is hands down the best place for Philly cheesesteaks and their pizzas are absolutely incredible! I was specifically looking for a halal spot and I’m so glad I found this one — it was perfect! A huge thank you to Fouad for his outstanding hospitality, he made the experience unforgettable. Must have cheesesteak and pizza place!!! I had the opportunity to try Lazaro’s for the first time today and it was the best halal Philly cheesecake I’ve had in Philadelphia! The options were plentiful but Fouad took the time to explain each one to me and I got the Lazaro cheesesteak which was a fully loaded version. It was Delicious! I also had one of their signature pizzas and it was equally delicious, with layer upon layer of food toppings. A warm ambiance and good people, you can’t go wrong with this place. I strongly recommend it if you’re looking for a good affordable place to eat.

I was so looking forward to my first piece of pizza from this famous place on South Street. I ordered a single slice to go that had pepperoni, sausage and vegetables on it. It looked absolutely amazing (!!) but when I got in my car to eat it I couldn’t even pick it up. It was one HUGE soggy mess as if it had been run through a washing machine, and it was a wet towel! In fact, a wet towel would have more structure than this piece of pizza. Shame on you guys… It’s a cold rainy day and I just wanted some comfort food. I would’ve come back to have you put it back in the oven for at least 10 more minutes to fix it but my meter was running out and I had an appointment across town
But honestly, what was the excuse guts? I was one of two people in the pizza joint waiting for their lunch. Two guys were behind the counter. My pizza slice went in the oven for maybe four minutes, but it clearly needed three times the amount of time! A good slice of pizza is ALL ABOUT the crispy, delicious crust!!! I wish I could’ve taken a picture of the soggy mess. I couldn’t even fold it in half, it fell apart in the box! Maybe it was a one off, but there’s no excuse (!!!) when all you’re doing is reheating something that was a labor of love earlier in the day. Please don’t do this to other customers. Your reputation is at stake here… But you lost me for a customer forever. Too bad, because I come to the health offices across the street once a week. I can’t tell you how incredibly disappointed I am ….so customers beware… Open your box and check the crust before you take it home, because otherwise you’ll be incredibly disappointed.

v delish !!! foot long cheesesteak and HUUUUGE slice of pizza for a decent price, and it was halal 🙂 v much enjoyed the food here n the price wasnt bad at all either. u can see the pizza takes up two whole plates omg. dine in is kinda wonky looking but any place to sit is good enough for me
