This is one amazing place!!! Mensy the owner of the bar and his awesome little dog Jax greets you with a smile!! There is no price gouging here and the people that go there are all great people. I’ve been here in town working since the beginning of May and my days here are coming to and end. From the very beginning they’ve welcomed me in and have done everything in their power to not only make me feel at home but an extended part of the family!! Both Sheila and Tina the bartenders and they are amazing too. They do serve food periodically. All home cooked delicious and they have never charged me. I HIGHLY recommend when in the area you should stop in and have a drink. They will make you feel like a part of the family. You will not regret your decision to stop in.

Plaisance’s Bar is a true culinary gem. The food here is good. The drinks were equally impressive, with a knowledgeable bartender who was happy to recommend the perfect pairing. The atmosphere is chic and vibrant. Plaisance’s Bar is a definite winner in my book

I am not a bar enthusiast but occasionally get to one for special events such as the Red Knights Poker Run. Plaisance is a nice clean neighborhood bar. Bar staff friendly, and good at keeping the customers entertained with conversations. Before the Red Knights arrived, most patrons seemed to be regulars as they all knew each other’s names. Yet within minutes I felt like I was one of the regulars also. The people (customers) no matter how well the staff and place is can make or break a bar to new comers. This one makes it thanks to the lead of the Bar Staff in setting the tone. Friendly, not overly smokey, friendly, friendly, friendly!!!
