Finally stopped at Powerhouse Restaurant & Brewery for dinner. We were seated right away. The atmosphere was unique, with insulators as lighting and the brick walls. It took awhile to get our food. We had the BLTG, bacon lettuce tomato with garlic aoli sauce, and the shroom burger. The BLTG didn’t have the flavor of garlic aoli and was pretty plain. The shroom burger was a little dry and not much in the way of mushrooms. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with a first visit and honestly will probably not go back.

Love the atmosphere, repurposed building, not sure of the history but gorgeous setting. Really cool electrical devices all over the place and one that activates when a train goes by.

The food was really good. We went on a Thursday and the Pint/Burger combo is unbeatable value. The “classic” burger was massive and came with all the fixings. The tots were perfectly crispy.

And of course the frosty pint was exquisite. I had the three letters IPA and it was both complex and refreshing with low bitterness.

Our server Ashley was so friendly and approachable. She made us feel at ease and shared her favorite menu items, delving deeper into flavors and descriptions. She joked easily with us and brought an extra spark of joy to our visit.

Also the music was playing absolute nostalgia bangers the entire time. Everything from the beach boys to paramore.

I can’t wait to dine again!

Cool spot to grab a bite to eat. Didn’t get to try any of the beers during lunch, but the food was great. The fried pickles and calamari were crunchy. The sauces were all good as well. I had a mushroom and Swiss burger with bacon added. The side of sweet potato fries was a nice addition for a little extra. Everything was seasoned well.

Our waitress was attentive and came to the table multiple times.

When we got there at 12:30 on Saturday, Feb.21, the employee explained that due to staffing, it may take a bit longer than normal. We had no deadline so we waited, got seated, got our beverages, ordered our food and waited, not all that long. The food was delicious! One of our party of 4 had the wings and was very impressed with the size of them. I had the dip sandwich and it was delicious. Thank you to the two ladies that kept it going, very impressive and they need to be commended for handing a busy Saturday afternoon with nothing but a smile and great service. Would hire them in a minute!!

Everything tasted fine, except for their coleslaw and tartar sauce. I think they use miracle whip instead of mayonnaise in their sauces as a base. It gave Everything a sickly sweet flavor that I just couldn’t get behind. The wings, onion rings, fish and chips all tasted fine, nothing special. I am only giving them two stars because I’m writing this from the toilet. I feel like crap after eating their food and I fear I might have food poisoning. It is worth noting that all my friends did enjoy their meals. Apologies for the low review, service was awesome and the atmosphere was cool.

The Powerhouse is a great place to come and have a great lunch and a microbrew. They offer around 10 different types of beer. I ordered a Scotch Ale with a high ABV. My son ordered a Classic hamburger and only bought Garlic fries. They really pile on the fries.

Nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. We sat on the patio this evening and enjoyed the mild temps. Food was decent. We Got Fried Pickles, Breast of Fire, and a soft pretzel for an appetizer. Our entrees were the BLTG, Shrooms & Swiss Burger, Fire Pasta, and Chicken Pesto Pasta. All were enjoyed by our family. I really love the building though!!!

We came in on a busy Saturday night with my wife and our one-year-old son, and from the start the experience was excellent. The staff was upfront and courteous about a large party and potential food delays, which we truly appreciated. We didn’t mind the wait at all—the atmosphere was comfortable, welcoming, and relaxed.
The beer, appetizers, and meal were all fantastic. My wife doesn’t typically enjoy beer, but she found one here that she absolutely loved, which says a lot. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome as parents with a young child, and even other guests were friendly and kind enough to interact with our baby. Bonus – sports are on here!

We would absolutely come back again and again – and could easily see ourselves reserving the upstairs for a birthday or special event in the future. Highly recommend!

Been wanting to come try for awhile now and so glad we did. Greeted and sat right away, very clean and our server (didn’t catch her name had a sleeve tattoo working the left dining section) was flawless. Great personality, great service and even made sure our food was in before the big tops. I had the Crown apple fall drink that was so so good and a Jaymo and ginger. Food we tried was the steak sandwich, calamari and fish tacos. Perfect portions, fast ticket time and it was so much better than we’d expected. I just left the industry after 10 years, at a time when local restaurants and I district folks are hurting, I’d make the 30 min drive to spend my money here any day. Every staff member was friendly and on point. Shout out to BOH and bar for crushing it too. Hope you get fat tips all night

The power gages, insulators, signage, and other historic items were almost enough to justify a visit by themselves. The service was friendly and speedy. My mushroom/Swiss burger was juicy. My wife’s chicken tenders were meaty and well cooked. The fries were crisp outside and tender on the inside without obnoxious seasonings. The Scottish Ale satisfied with each pair of pints. I would have liked just a bit larger portion size.

Our fourth visit was even better than the first. My wife’s chicken tenders were as good as ever, and the Fire burger I had the last three times has become my favorite. Portions were worth the money. We have lived in this area for a bit over 4 years, and this is my favorite place to go.
