Food was better than good maybe, but not great. I had two tacos/one side or dip—Hawaiian Shrimp—one each grilled and fried and queso dip, nothing added.
Overall the shrimp tacos were good—I don’t think I’d order them again though. I preferred the grilled to the fried and got confirmation on the canned pineapple—not my favorite. Interesting adding the toasted coconut—fortunately there wasn’t much of it. Personally, there was too much sauce and I’d prefer cabbage to iceberg lettuce, but as mentioned the food was still good.
The chips for the queso were light, crispy and flavorful. The queso was creamy and tasty.
Service at the beginning was great. While dining, no one stopped by my table to ask me how things were going, but I didn’t need anything so it was fine.
Plenty of seating, and probably a good place for groups of people.

The Tacos at Tacos 4 Life are nothing short of spectacular. Adding in their mission of donating a portion of the proceeds to feeding the less fortunate around the world simply adds to the reasons I intend to spend more money getting food here. The Mexican Creamed Corn was delicious as well, but I wasn’t a big fan of the sopapillas; they were a bit generic. The only thing that prevented them from getting a perfect score is that I found the booth seats quite uncomfortable. The vibes in this spot are right and the staff is great, but the seating could use a bit of work. However, that won’t stop me from visiting again for the great tacos!

I was looking for a place to eat some good tacos and came across this taquería. I ordered three different types of tacos: one Hawaiian shrimp, one chipotle steak, and another mango habanero. All the tacos were delicious. The habanero one can be a bit spicy, but it’s definitely great if you like spicy food. The place is nice, the customer service was good, so if you’re passing by Target and get hungry, you should check out this taquería—you won’t regret it. By the way, I recommend the side of Mexican creamed corn.

Late night craving…This place stood out! The service was okay I wouldn’t say it was grand however the food was good. We were looking for a quick bite while heading back to our hotel, but who wouldn’t like a taco? This place had every taco you could imagine, I just wish the customer service matched. The fish taco was so delicious. The shrimp taco was plain, but seasoned well and my husband really enjoyed the Korean barbecue steak taco. I wouldn’t give it five stars due to the mediocre customer service but it definitely gets four stars in my book.

Tacos 4 Life is hands down one of my favorite spots in Overland Park! The tacos are always fresh, flavorful, and creative I highly recommend the Korean BBQ and the Honey Poblano Chicken. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, even during busy times.
What makes this place even better is their mission, every meal you buy helps feed a child in need. It’s amazing to enjoy great food while supporting a great cause. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Such a great experience! The guy who took our order must have been the manager. He was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious – very fresh! They had more traditional taco options and some more creative approaches. We oldest son had the steak taco… I definitely had order envy when I saw his. My middle son had the rice bowl and my youngest had the buffalo chicken taco. I had the Korean BBQ and the Mango Habanero tacos. All of it was incredible. The chips that came with my combo were super tasty as well. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is great! Been awhile since we’ve felt a place deserves 5 stars all around. Lots of choices on the menu, clean, and excellent service. The tacos, chips/queso, and fruit punch were all delicious. Love the cause they support also!
