They built this place near my house and what a great find. The prices are decent. I’ve only tried one thing but it was the spam Musubi which was really good. My kids like it and I had them review it.
It’s always nice when they build local things that are clean and affordable and I hope this guy stick around. The staff there was friendly and attentive. The star is very clean and there’s even a Slush Puppie machine here and a Mexican restaurant. What a nice discovery.

I have no plans to return here after SEVERAL negative interactions. Some of the food items are made differently than other L&L locations, but I’ll focus mostly on customer service. If I stack up my experience here to other locations, or even other restaurants in general, I don’t think the employees here even know what basic customer service is. I’ve been here MULTIPLE times where I ordered online, my order was ready and sitting on the ledge, but the employees remain in the back room and force me to wait for several minutes before even asking me why I’m there. I’ve never been greeted in a friendly manner, or with a smile, or any of the other BASIC things that represent a positive customer interaction. This location could be so much better, but I have to guess that this starts with management, because this seems to represent the general culture of all employees at this establishment. It’s safe to say that this location will no longer have my business. I’ve been patient and hoping that these issues would clear up ever since the store opened, but sadly, have seen no improvements.

I was there today I ordered mixed barbecue! There was nobody greeting me at the entrance Staff was chitchatting in the kitchen. I had to call them to place an order!Then the order came came. There were only two tables to sit. (you are actually would be sitting inside the gas station.) I opened my box I couldn’t believe my eyes! They used low and meat and chicken swimming in the oil! The meat had more fat parts hanging out more than meat itself! Tasteless tasteless and little portion! I couldn’t eat there so I took it home. I couldn’t eat,at home either there too..
I totally lost my appetite for the food . This place is brand new and that’s what they serve you ? A low quality meat with fat mostly and a small portion that I paid $16.20.! This was my first and the last time there.. I threw the entire food to the garbage! Please, don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else.!

Very Rude cashier, poor customer service and attitude. Expensive for small portions they almost charge us for $45 for just two plates if i never check the receipt Don’t go to this location , $14.95 for for regular mix plate like only mini plate, small portion of rice, one piece of barbecue chicken and one piece of fried fish , never ever go back to this location its a rip off

First off they charge extra for short ribs ($3)on a BBQ mix that’s included all other location. Portions are terrible and how it’s cooked is even worse! Fast service, but I’d rather wait for a better portion and flavor.. the one on Maryland is so much better than Horizon.. WONT BE COMING BACK HERE ANYMORE!’n

Updating my last review… Terrible! All the meat was burnt. Super slow service… And it’s not the normal menu… BBQ pork chops? Since when?
Crazy that there are so many messed up reviews. I frequent L&L often. Probably hundreds of times, and dozens of their locations. This is the best quality food I’ve had at one so far! I’ve been sleeping on this location for sure. I’m thinking some of these people complaining have never had, no do they have Love for, Island food. I’m very satisfied! Service was great too! There were 2 young ladies running the whole show, and they did not disappoint ❤️

I’ve loved L&L for many years. I’m very familiar with the menu, food portions, etc. This location gave me the worst BBQ mix plate I’ve ever had from L&L.
They skimped me on chicken, the beef was about 50% gristle, and the short ribs were missing entirely. The crew seemed more intent on chillin than working, which is probably why their food sucks.
