The atmosphere is that of a grocery store deli, but the food is always good. This is basically a review for their sushi, but I’ve always loved the Macaroni salad and potato salads (especially the Amish potato salad )
I’m not a sushi snob, but I wouldn’t get it from a gas station, for instance. Meijer sushi has really stepped its game up in the last year, and I’ve witnessed someone making the rolls fresh behind the counter, so I know they’re not just frozen rolls. They have some $5 sushi on Wednesdays, but I generally want the more interesting rolls which cost more. They’ve also got some fun things that I’ll throw in my air fryer which cooks them to perfection like the crab cheese Rangoons or the bao, which I’ll just throw in the microwave for a bit.
