The flavors were better than most. I ordered the 5 piece chicken tandoori and was quite disappointed that it wasn’t 5 full pieces of chicken, there was a tablespoon worth of chicken at most on the hacked and chopped pieces I received. $74.00 after tip for the two of us. It has me hesitant that I will return again.

Had an amazing meal at Blue Fire Restaurant & Bar. I ordered the Shahi Korma Goat (with bone)—it was incredibly flavorful, tender, and full of rich, aromatic spices. The shareable naan basket was the perfect side—fresh, warm, and great for soaking up the sauce.
I also had a mango shake, and it was the perfect refreshing finish—smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Great food, great portions, and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Stop in for supper just last weekend as my wife loves Butter Chicken and the rice. First time to eat here and well I must say the customer service was very pleasant. The atmosphere was enjoyable with nice background music art to look at. The pricing of the meal was great, and the quality and quantity was also pretty good. I will share some photos of the meal we enjoyed in hopes that you might want to give this restaurant a try. As you might read another review from such person that goes by Milan Thakkar and think oh dear this can’t be a good place but some people have nothing better to do than complain about places and with only four reviews I can only imagine that this persons review is 100% FAKE.

Ordered butter chicken, coconut rice, Garlic Naan, pickled veggies and onion salad. They forgot the Garlic Naan and the pickled veggies were horrible. The onion salad was cut up slices of onion with a little paprika – it was Horrible. I’ve eaten alot of Indian food and never been served like this. Called the restaurant – they didn’t care and asked me to come pick up the garlic naan. They couldn’t deliver as they didn’t have a driver. Told me to get a refund through door dash. Unable to get a refund through door dash. Whole experience was very disappointing with the restaurant as well as door dash. No accountability and not concerned about the customer experience for both companies. Tried to upload photos and wasn’t able to.

Based on the online reviews I went to this Indian restaurant. About 2 Kms to the right from Highway 1 if you are going towards Calgary.
Food was tasty, service was quick, quantity was adequate
We ordered the following-
1) chicken 65 – the best ( reordered one more plate)
2) Momos platter – very good
3) Naan – very good
4) chicken tikka masala – average and it was not exactly a Chicken Tikka masala. Capaicum?? really ? And no tikka in tikka masala?? Just breast pieces but were tender – would recommend trying something else.
The bad – Ladies washroom was unattended and was in a horrible condition.

We were on a road trip and staying in Medicine Hat for the night. We decided to try Blue Flame because of the positive reviews on here, and they did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Service is excellent and very friendly. I had the mango shake… excellent and paired well with the food. I tried the paneer lababdar. So good! Loved it. We also ordered the bread basket, which includes three types of naan and another kind of bread. Good value! My partner enjoyed their butter chicken. Would definitely stop back if we’re in the area again.

Food was amazing as always. Wife and I never have a bad meal when we come. However the service tonight was very underwhelming. When we first arrived the female server asked us what we would like to drink. I asked for a Diet Coke & my wife asked for a hot tea. I got my Diet Coke after 10ish minutes or so. Maybe 20 or so minutes had gone by and my wife still had not gotten her tea. When the server was asked what was happening with the tea she acted shocked & said she had forgotten. I understand people forget things but we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. The server never came to check if our food was ok and seemed more concerned being on her phone sat underneath the bar. We usually leave a tip but tonight we did not feel a tip was worthy. Hopefully next time we eat here the service will be a lot better!
It was also weird that there was no background music as typically there is nice music to listen to while eating.
