We were wanting some really good BBQ and remember I had had this place a few years ago but couldn’t remember why I have never been back…
Well, this time it was a major disappointment I ordered quite a few things to get a taste of the menue and We were surely disappointed. Nothing had any seasoning. The ribs were tender and sweet but needed some balance to cut the sweet, once we put bbq sauce on them they were fine. The brisket and pork sliders were dry and was like eating bark, and again… NO seasoning. We didn’t even bother to eat it. The grean beans are straight out of the can, no onions, no seasoning or meat whatsoever! Nothing “southern” about them. The wings were hard and dry with absolutely no flavor. The coleslaw and was probably the highlight it was delicious and the macaroni was okay as well. Needless to say we won’t be back. I know if you let things sit for a while it can be dry, but it was before 2pm on a Saturday… no excuse! Also, to add insult to injury I had to wait 20 min past the time it said it would be ready. No offer of a beverage, sorry for the wait, no silverware or a napkin to have been had….

We are BBQ fans so we decided to give this restaurant a try since we were in the area. The guy who took our order was very friendly and helpful when we told him it was our first time at the restaurant. I have zero negatives to say about the food. It was hot and flavorful and we both LOVED Spicy Sweet sauce. I got the sliders and of the three the buffalo Joe chicken was my favorite. (They were all good though) My husband said he enjoyed his wings and they were crispy.

I’m an Alabama boy living in Cincy. This is my favorite bbq here. The gfunk wings are excellent. The smoked turkey is very good (not typically a turkey guy). The sweet sauce is fantastic. The other local places don’t have a sauce that compares in my opinion. Local family owns it and has made something special

Very friendly people. The eating area was clean. The chicken wings and brisket was really good my husband said. They make the pork rinds fresh and they are amazing and I don’t normally eat them. I enjoyed my Turkey Fiesta wrap, I got extra lettuce. We will be going again.

In the area and this place had been on my “must-try” for smoked wings, so stopped in for late lunch. Staff is super-friendly and did great job of explaining their menu and what they are known for. Decided on the G-funk and CTB wings with a side of Mac and cheese.
Wings were some the best I have had in some time, other than my home smoked wings! Nice depth of flavor from the smoke and dry rub and crisped up from being deep-fried. Mac and cheese was good as well. Will definitely be back to try out some different wing flavors. Highly recommend!!!!

Good food and really nice people! We wanted to try several different items so we ordered the pulled pork, chopped beef brisket, green beans, and an order of their famous G-Funk wings! Everything was tasty, but we LOVED the green beans and the G-Funk sauce. The wings themselves were just OK as they weren’t very hot and somewhat dry. BUT…we ordered another 6 wings with the Grippo rub and the wings were amazing! So juicy and piping hot! I am so glad we ordered more wings because I think the 1st batch were not typical. The employees were all very personable and happy to answer any questions. We will be back!

Stopped by this place today for some carryout. Delicious family owned barbecue. I had chopped chicken and brisket sliders, wings and Mac and cheese with spicy barbecue sauce. My favorite was the brisket but all were delicious. The spicy barbecue is very peppery but I love pepper and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Shoutout to Mark the manager for his recommendations!

We were looking for a quick dinner, and this place is across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn at Loveland. You basically go to the counter and order. They give you a number and they bring it to your table.
I was disappointed because I wanted to try the smoked turkey, but they were out. So I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and slaw. My wife had the beef brisket with fries. We had the vinegar based BBQ sauce, while watery, it was tasty. The food was quite good. My pork was juicy and not dried out. The brisket was well smoked.
As far as atmosphere is concerned, it is your typical dining area, nothing fancy. The floor could have been cleaner, and the trash cans were full, so someone needed to mind the eating area a bit better. They do quite a bit of take-out.

We love Midwest Best BBQ! We used them for our wedding catering because we love the owners and this business so much! Not only do we enjoy having a dinner from them by grabbing some takeout and enjoying it on our couch, it was also so enjoyable at our wedding! We only heard rave reviews from all our guests as well.
