This place always messes up the kids food or orders. Ordered two meals and a large fry, but then they only gave us the burgers, not the meal so they needed to correct it. Then we drive away and the fries were literally cold. Like not even warm. I drove back around and swapped them out. I gave them back the 2 small fries and 1 large fry and then they handed me a bag. We drive away and they ended up only giving me back 3 small fries.

Every time I go, no matter how pleasant I am the ladies who work in the window are very rude. They make you wait in the parking even if the store isn’t busy God forbid you ask them for a sauce they practically shove it. I have to always say thank you and have a nice day because they will not say it to you Instead they rolled their eyes on you and ignore you.

I tried placing multiple orders here and was only given about half of them. When I tried to ask the staff for help, the shift manager treated me like a pest and refused to give me my orders despite me showing my confirmation codes and order numbers/receipts. The cashier tried to be helpful and was nice, but the shift manager refused to help, finally giving me only half my orders after an hour of ignoring me and giving me nasty faces. On top of that, she laughed at me when I tried to ask for the rest and walked away, basically telling me to go away.

Last time I ordered through the app and they said sorry we don’t have any of the 5 items you ordered so I’m like whatever just give me my money back. They said no I get it back through the app nope it says refund in store only
I went back in and they refused to refund me and yelling saying I would get a refund through the app this place is pathetic to say the least
And I bet no one will get back to me about it even after filing 3 complaints now.
Save yourself the time and aggravation and go to a different location. The manager won’t even speak to you if there is a issue and the rest either actually don’t know English or pretend they dont

Had food missing from my walk in order. Found a long hair in one burger. 2nd burger had a patty not fully cooked. While in there a second time to fix since I apparently hate myself so much, staff was again inattentive. Another customer was ignored so long she walked behind the counter to get her own cup. All hail corporations

I drove this location for 5 miles. And the person who was taking the order overnight shift at the drive thru service on September 12, 2025 Friday early morning at 2:30am was playing with me that he could not hear me. People deserve better service.

The dining room was dirty, trash on the floors !nd tables dirty. The men’s room as in serious need of attention. The soda machine was labeled with tape and sprayed soda all over as it was being dispensed. The was one napkin holder and it was empty. I will certainly not recommend this location. It is an example of what a franchise should not be.

Always piping hot, always delicious… I don’t eat McDonald’s often but every time I’m in Reading, I have to stop by for a cheeseburger and fries.
