I typically enjoy dining at this location; however, our experience last night was disappointing. My 11 year old son got the chicken fried rice and unfortunately found a fairly large bone in his meal in his rice, which nearly caused him to choke and bite done on it. As a result, he stopped eating it all together. I hope this issue can be addressed to ensure a safer dining experience for future guests.

As someone who frequents a lot of Chinese food restaurants, I was so happy to visit this one. The host, Caitlyn, was so pleasant and accommodating as I asked various questions about the menu. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and traditional fried chicken wings. 10/10.
The rice was so flavorful. Light with a balanced mix of sweet and savory bits. I appreciate the onions cut to the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. They pack a punch in every single bite. The chicken came out sizzling hot. Marinated in garlic, every bite was exquisite.
This is not a corporate Chinese food spot. Go to PF Changs or Panda Express if you want food doused in sugar and salt. This place offers real Chinese cuisine at an affordable price. I will come back here again for sure.

I love this Chinese place. The food doesn’t taste like your average to go spot. The server was great and really attentive. Our glasses were never empty and she had great recommendations. The atmosphere was a little scattered as far as decor but will definitely be back.

My family ordered food last night and we were all DISAPPOINTED!!!! We had house fried rice and it was disgusting, the rice was not cooked properly at all and it did not have the same taste. Our egg rolls were ok, not the best but everything else was so nasty. Even the Won Ton soup was bad smh…This place was our favorite restaurant to go to and now we are on a search for a new one. I am highly dissatisfied with the food and the service. We have been coming here for years and last night was it for us. Sounds like you are under new management but your food quality is GROSS!!! I hope you can get it together, and fix your food.

Hello I am a food inspector/ not over this district but I will be sending my review over to the Spector covering this district the noodles and soup tasted like sewage and carried an awful smell the chicken was wet and tasted old I am disgusted with what I was served and will be persuing the necessary steps to make sure this business goes under the proper investigation required for this establishment to maintain occupancy. Although I frequently visit this restaurant this is the first time that I was so disappointed in what I received. Per a professional do not give this establishment your business until a positive review has been posted by another legitimate inspector.

My son drove me to pickup my order of shrimp toast and shrimp fried rice. The rice was over cooked and the shrimp toast was so greasy! I held the bag on my lap and upon arriving home the bag was so soaked with grease that it had stained my pants. Will never purchase anything again from here! Will never refer anyone either.

Arrived to pickup my food and waited 10 min for sometime to come to the counter.
Sadly poor experience with the Lantern this go around. I will be requesting a free entree to replace the error on your part. I know it’s difficult to find staff these days, but young lady who took my worded on today was so confused.

Being very generous by giving 3 stars . The sesame chicken was quite dry and a bit tough (overcooked) . I ordered it through Doordash so by the time I got it, it was cold which I won’t blame on the restaurant but that definitely effected the overall quality . Rice was fine . The taste itself of the chicken was just offputting, first time eating here and I was very let down . Would have loved to see a thicker, more flavorful sauce along with a crispier breading on chicken without the dryness .

All.i got ro said for the price is the worst Chinese feed I have had in reynoldsburg only reson we order was because our favorite spot was close but never again we got Chinese with broccoli and had no flavor and all was water. And the fried rice was tasteless
