The food was good was so delicious not enough bread more rice less bread they need to put more bread and more rice than the food would be more delicious. Service was good. I came all the way from Howell, New Jersey exit 98 off the parkway. I was referred by friends and family to try this restaurant out. Service was excellent friendly people.

Their food is great but the atmosphere and service wasn’t. I ate from here like about weeks ago and I experienced something I didn’t like, which was the pricing. I ordered one mansaf for $25, and 2 soda, and 1 water that’s it, and the lady had charged us $65 for it. So just Keep an eye out for there prices because scamming us for no reason and made us pay $40 for nothing isn’t really great for their business. And i forgot to mention that one of the server was giving us attitude and was being really rude towards us. We came in at a good mood and she came and ruined it for us. This is so unprofessional and will not come here again!

I ordered lamb mandi 15 mins before I started from home for pick up…when I went in to the store ..they said 15 more minutes….so I went back to my car. And after 15 mins I called them again and they said the order is ready. But when I went in they said it’s getting done and made me stand in the store or another 15 mins….wasting time is just ridiculous …zero respect for the customers. Not at all professional..comming to food, the meat was okay, the quantity was good(provided it was all rice anyway). But the rice they use is of lower quality…or something….the rice was clumping together and didn’t seem to be a quality ingredient. And they over load the dish with pine nuts and no raisins. It was just a sad experience here for me. Maybe it’s a one time thing…

I had the pleasure of dining here and tried the Mansaf. The taste is truly authentic, and the meat was perfectly cooked, soft, and melted in my mouth. The environment was relaxing and had a unique feel that made the experience even better. This is hands down the best Mansaf I’ve had in the US. Highly recommend!

I called 10 minutes before closing because we accidentally ordered from the wrong restaurant. When we intended to order from here and drove from Philadelphia. Not only did the owner “Sanaa” I think I’m spelling her name right told me to still come , what she did tonight was so kind. She accommodated us , her hospitality was great , and the food was delicious. This restaurant values customers and making them happy. I highly recommend this restaurant , the food is delicious.

Husband and I came here for the first time and had musakhan and mansaf with meat (lamb). Absolutely DELICIOUS. my family is from Jordan so I have high standards for both meals. Meat was falling off the bone, tender, perfectly cooked. Large portions of food, great value, special atmosphere. The restaurant is spotless. The owner is the kindest and makes you feel like family. I can’t wait to come back and bring friends! Some Arabic restaurants in Paterson don’t feel welcoming – this restaurant feels welcoming to ALL! If you’ve wanted to experience Arabic cuisine in a down to earth environment – this is the place! Enjoy!

This is the best place for authentic Palestinian/ Jordanian food! The Mensaf, mesakhan and mandi is amazing—fresh, flavorful, and truly unbeatable. Every dish is delicious, and I wouldn’t eat these anywhere else.
They occasionally have weekly specials, such as stuffed grape leaves and other Middle Eastern favorites. The restaurant is always clean, and the owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming.
If you want amazing food and great hospitality, this is the place to go! ♥️

I went with the family to this restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff treated them nicely and their service was excellent. I ordered mandi meat. The rice and meat were cooked and seasoned well and delicious. We also ordered mansaf meat. It was delicious and the price is right. I highly recommend it to go to this restaurant.

On a mundane Paterson street, the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the second you walk in you’ll feel like you’ve been transported into the private leisure chambers of a king from the Middle East. With vivid colors, lamps, and music bouncing off the walls, you’ll want to spend hours lounging in the comfort of this beautiful restaurant.

For as imperial as the interior decor is, the service is not: in fact, it’s actually BETTER than royalty because it is the kind of genuine hospitality you can only find in a loving, family home. The way the owner was talking and treating me, it was like I was his long lost cousin. He quipped and bantered with us like we’d know each other for years, an easy smile on his face. “Pay later, enjoy the food first,” he said after we’d placed our orders at the front. “Are there any sugar free drinks?” I asked. “Water,” he replied, without missing a beat. We all laughed while he went searching for my beverage.

The owner personally brought out our food and even poured the sauce for the “Mansaf” on top for us. We feasted like kings, with the owner continuously checking in on us. If we couldn’t decide between two menu options, he never got irritated. He smiled and gave us both!

As for the food itself, the “Mansaf” is legendary. Along with the tender portions of lamb resting atop a bed of roasted almond slivers and fragrant rice, make sure you don’t forget to douse the platter with the special mansaf sauce. The savory, creamy, and warm sauce will make your mind melt with pleasure.

The “Chicken Mandi” is a wonderfull roasted, savory chicken dish on more rice with roasted almonds. It comes with creamy yogurt sauce and cucumber salad. Definitely also a must try.

I’ll probably find any excuse to drive up to Paterson now. “Kan Zamaan” is every bit as impressive as the sound of its name implies.
