Extremely nice owner! Why go to a fast food joint when you can eat home style meals that taste like something your mom/grandmom used to cook? Hearty portions at a fraction of the cost you would pay for lesser portions in a chain restaurant. Today we had mac& cheese, greens, green beans and grilled chicken as well as a double cheeseburger that was as big as a saucer! If you leave here hungry. It’s your fault! Great value, great meal. Worth the drive to Glade water. Will be back!

The food is absolutely amazing. The flavor and taste gave me back home vibes.( When my grandpa was alive) The service was great. Super sweet down to earth folks. I came as a stranger but they made me feel like family. I encourage anyone who wants some good food to go here. P.s. My co-worker said it was FYAAAHHH.

Don’t let the place fool you..little hole in the wall but it’s worth the drive. I’ll probably get haunted by grandma, but the candied yams and greens are the best I’ve ever eaten. And the sarsaparilla brought back memories

Hidden gem in Gladewater. Out for a drive and decided to get an early lunch. My husband found this place with excellent reviews, and once we found out it was Veteran owned….we had to try it, at least to support our Vets.

Once you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of smokey BBQ goodness. The place is quaint, with no frills and an honorable table for MIA/ POWs as you enter.

The owner/chef/all-in-one, Latonya, is the kindness, most welcoming soul you’ll ever meet! We had the pleasure of her company while we enjoyed her home cooked *love on a plate*. Hubby had spicy links with baked beans, and I had smoked chicken with beans and candied yams and sasparilla.

She is the REAL thing!! I would give her 10*’s if it were possible. Her food, value, hospitality, and sense of love and service to her community is hard to find today.

Thank you for a wonderful lunch date! We honor you, your service, and ALL those who served. May you continue to be blessed in all you do.

We will be back!!!!!!

Latoya is such a great person to even be around but her food speaks for itself . Ihave had food from all around the world being that I was raised in a military family, I found myself at latonyas restaurant just checking out little shops in glade water. The special of the day were pizzas and I am a fan of pizza but when she said she had boudan I said no thank you a lady next door said I had to try one before I judged. So I did and I’m literally writing this review to tell you that you have to try it light and crispy juicy meat and melted cheese to just fall out it was simply amazing.

Staff was wonderful and friendly, food was delicious, and the area was cozy – almost felt like you were in your family’s dining room. The amount of food you get for $20 was insane. SO much food, and it came with a dessert (this time was a brownie cheesecake). Definitely will return in the future.

If you’re anywhere near this part of Texas—or even if you’re not—do yourself a favor and make a trip to Nobody’s T&K Pop Up Grill and Cafe / Latonya Soul Food Kitchen Catering. This place is truly a hidden gem and one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The food is nothing short of phenomenal. Every single meat we tried was perfectly cooked—so tender, juicy, and full of smoky, savory flavor that you can tell comes from true passion and skill in the kitchen. The mac and cheese deserves its own standing ovation; it’s rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. And the smoked pie? Let’s just say it has officially changed my entire life. I’ve never tasted anything quite like it—it’s a must-try that alone is worth the drive.

Beyond the amazing food, what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere and the people. The owners are some of the kindest folks you’ll ever meet. They treat you like family from the moment you walk through the door, making the entire dining experience feel warm, genuine, and full of Southern hospitality.

The café itself is small, casual, and unpretentious—no fancy frills here, just a cozy, homey vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger, chat, and soak up the good energy (and the delicious smells coming from the kitchen).

I would happily drive two hours from Dallas just to eat here again—and I absolutely plan to. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you love incredible food made with love, served by wonderful people, in a place that feels like home, this is your spot. Don’t miss it!

Food? Top tier. I’ve been here a few times and every single bite hits like a warm hug from flavor heaven. The owner is an absolute gem—kind, welcoming, and somehow makes you feel like you just walked into your favorite aunt’s kitchen. Nothing about this place feels “business”—it’s all heart, soul, and ridiculously good eats. Prices are friendly, the vibe is cozy, and if you haven’t tried her food yet… this is your official sign from the universe. GO. NOW.
