The food exceeded all expectations. I arrived around 7:30 PM and assumed most dishes would be near the end of their cycle, but nearly everything I tried tasted fresh and high quality. I didn’t have a single complaint—every item was excellent.
A special mention goes to Tina, who made the end of my visit truly memorable. Her warm service alone is enough to bring me back the next time I’m in the Windsor area.
This is, without question, the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to. A friend later told me that weekday pricing is even better, around $20, which makes it an even greater value. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food very fresh and hot. There were not that much Sashimi choice but tuna and salmon will do. The salad bar was pretty pack with choices. They have a lots of desert.
A great place to eat. All worth it.
Bravo and thumbs up to Windsor Ontario location.
However, during our recent visits we have been disappointed with the quality of some of the food, particularly the rice and noodles. The taste and appearance have not been enjoyable, which has made it difficult for us to fully enjoy the buffet.
Our most recent visit on Sunday, February 8, 2026, was meant to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday and my husband’s new job. Unfortunately, the experience was not what we had hoped for. We spent about $257 for a family of five, yet we found ourselves mostly eating shrimp, meat, fruits, and ice cream because the rice and noodles were not appetizing.
What made the experience even more disappointing was that this visit was meant to celebrate two very important moments for our family, so we had really hoped the dining experience would match the special occasion.
After leaving, we still felt hungry, and the children even mentioned that they are already tired of dining there. This was quite discouraging since we had been looking forward to the outing.
I had initially sent a private email about three weeks ago to management because my intention was not to publicly criticize the restaurant but to encourage improvement and give the team an opportunity to review the concern first. Since I have not yet received a response, I am sharing this feedback here in hopes that it will reach the appropriate team.
We truly hope this feedback will be taken into consideration, as we would like to continue visiting and enjoying the experience at Mandarin Restaurant. We would appreciate hearing from management regarding this concern and how it may be addressed moving forward.
