This is an absolutely beautiful place! The atmosphere is amazing! Come here dressed to impress, it deserves it! I had the crab claws as an appetizer and the spaghetti a limone. The tiramusu was very silky and pefectly sweet. I sat at the bar and the service was impeccable! I don’t have anything to complain about or even exceptions. Even the olive oil and the bread had such an earthy aromatic and robust flavor! Bring your love for an intimate dinner. They will remember it.

Casa Mangiare is our go-to place for an upscale dinner. The food is delicious and the portions are very reasonable. At some fancy restaurants you get what feels like very little food for the price, but here I always end up taking home leftovers. While it is a little pricier I don’t feel like I’m being overcharged at all. There’s also a robust vegetarian menu, which can be hard to find in nicer places around town.

Service is always top notch, coming here feels very luxurious. At our most recent visit Reed was our server; he is the perfect example of the kind of quality service we’ve gotten here. He was attentive without being intrusive and very pleasant and helpful.

The ambiance here is very nice as well. The decor feels very classic. Many restaurants now have a more industrial aesthetic, which makes them extremely loud in my opinion due to the echoes against all the exposed brick and pipe. At Casa Mangiare the atmosphere is quieter and more relaxed, and I can actually hear my dinner partner across the table.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice night out!

Quiet elegant atmosphere with large beautiful bar. The colors are classy and stately. We had the mai tai, the amaretto sour (both were well balanced and pretty), the meatballs, raw oysters, bruschetta, tavle bread and the wood grilled oysters. All were very flavorful. For dessert we had the tiramisu. It was served in a coffee mug and was more of a mousse than traditional tiramisu. It was creamy abd decadent with chocolate shavings on top.
We enjoyed our experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Mangiare and agreed that the restaurant was worth the price and one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Our waiters Matthew and Serenity were very attentive and polite. We’ve tried wague meatballs for an appetizer, spaghetti limone with Argentinian shrimp and short rib for entrees and panna cotta for appetizer – everything was fresh and tasted amazing. The drinks were great too and since we manage to get there during Happy Hour – they were surprisingly well priced too. Overall, we highly recommend this place for a date night or an upscale dinner.

Truly an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and Kylie’s service was amazing. She was attentive, kind, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Her positive attitude truly enhanced our dining experience. We will definitely be back!

We had such a lovely time here! Our server Zen J was amazing. He tended to us all evening with care and smile, and was willing to help us with everything. We loved every single menu we ordered but for me the chocolate fondant was to die for. The texture of the focaccia was great and the cook on our salmon and wagyu was perfect. This place is an absolute gem with very nice vibes, ideal for a special night out. Our only conern is that we might have taken the merchant’s receipt in our hurry to leave – if there is an issue please let us know. Overall, this is a quality restaurant that serves quality food and service.

A Delightful Anniversary Celebration at Casa Mangiare: Five Stars All Around!

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Casa Mangiare while I was in town for work, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. Chef Antonio’s dishes were absolutely exquisite, each plate bursting with authentic Italian flavor and artistry (especially the beautiful emulsion of the lemon butter sauce; as a cosmetic formulator, this was impressive).

Our server, Kyle, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, while Manager Nathan stopped by to ensure our evening was flawless. The attention to detail, from the cozy ambiance to the beautifully plated food, really made our celebration feel extra special.

If you’re in College Station and craving an outstanding Italian dining experience, Casa Mangiare is the place to go. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner here! Gig ’em and enjoy

Wow! This was such a great experience! Nathan, Reid, and William were excellent servers and always made sure we were taken care of. Happiest of birthdays to my daughter, and thank you Casa Mangiare for celebrating her with us. The focaccia was incredible and the calamari and tiramisu were beyond our expectations. Friendly service, exceptional food, relaxing atmosphere – perfection of a night. Thank you for making it so special. ❤️

My partner’s coworker recommended Casa Mangiare to us as a local fine dining option. After looking over the menu on their website, I was already skeptical. When the menu features entrees starting at $35, but is riddled with wildly obvious typos and spelling errors, I feel like that’s an indicator of attention to quality. After dining here, I think I placed my expectations exactly where they deserved to be.

On the service side, things were mixed. Our primary server was friendly, but seemed a bit inexperienced with working in this type of setting. He opened that he needed to go over the menu with us “because things here are kind of expensive.” He also pointed out several of dishes that were “on the cheaper side” without any sort of prompting. We were both nicely dressed, so this felt oddly presumptive. Who likes to start their meal at a nice restaurant by the staff implying that you can’t afford it. Or maybe he knew what was coming—that the food is overpriced, bland, and that there are better places to spend $200 on a dinner for two. On a more positive note, the floor manager was very friendly, proactive, and attentive.

Now the food. The focaccia was delicious. It was my favorite part of the dinner. Unfortunately the waiter only brought us olive oil. I thought it was odd, but oh well. 10 minutes later after we’ve eaten half the loaf, he asked if we’d like some balsamic too. Uh…yes, actually. That would have been nice. Either way, I could have eaten it plain—it was tasty.

We shared the black truffle fettuccine as a starter. Good, rich, heavy on the butter. Can’t complain, but I’m not raving about it either considering it was $39. For entrees we got the braised beef short rib and duck confit. My hopes weren’t high but I was disappointed by how BLAND it was. Lacked salt, couldn’t really make out any herbs or seasoning in anything. The only thing that had flavor was the truffle potato cream and it was pretty one-note. The duck was overcooked and dry. Nowhere near worth the price. For dessert we got tiramisu, which is pretty impossible to mess up. And while they did not mess it up, it was probably some of the most underwhelming tiramisu I’ve had in memory. VERY mild—barely any espresso flavor.

Complaints aside, the main dining room is easily one of the loveliest in town. I wish the food matched the care and thought put into the interior.

Overall, I don’t feel inclined to return and I would not recommend it to anyone unless they need to have a photo-worthy dining room. I’m always asking folk to recommend me new restaurants to try in town, and I now understand why it had never been previously suggested to me in the past 2+ years it has been open.

We came to Casa Managiare to celebrate our son’s birthday. And I will say the staff made it extra special! The food was delicious! And the level of customer service was off the charts. Our waiter Ethan did a fantastic job taking care of us! We also met Cameron, one of the managers who checked on us and made sure we were taken care of us. Unfortunately I did not get the bartenders name that came and prepared my carajillo at the table – great presentation and it was delicious!! Our thanks to the entire staff!!! It was a great first visit and we are already looking forward to our next one.
