I am a regular customer. I went there today. I ordered a phily cheese steak ALL CHOPPED SMALL. He repeated it back to me. Yes. Owner was on the grill. I went down the line to pay. Got home NOTHING chopped small. Store was empty. Communication failed.

Will say that I have been going to Jersey Mike’s since the very beginning in NJ. Have enjoyed the sandwiches for such a long time. Could not remember a time where the staff did not greet us and were friendly and attentive. UNTIL YESTERDAY. Went to the Little River location, which we have been going to since they opened. Ordered my usual order, giant Number 2, Mike’s no onions and a regular BLT, both on white bread. The process began as it usually does. As the sandwiches were being made went to the register. I requested a small cup of banana peppers on the side. I even explained my wife likes them and I wasn’t a fan. Was trying to open the app on phone and could not navigate the system. The register man rang up the order. Since I was unable to figure out the app asked for assistance. To no avail. I rang my card through and was charged. At the same moment my wife was able to get the app to come up. We had enough points for a free regular sub. Hooray. We asked if the transaction could be voided and re-processed with us getting the regular sandwich. Another guy came forward, who has been working at this location for awhile, This gentleman said nothing he can do, “Just have to use it next time”. We were excited to get home and indulge. We get home and realize no banana peppers. Oh minor issue. Take a bite and there is no seasoning, no oil and no vinegar on the number 2. We wrapped up the sandwich and headed back. We arrived back at the store and the gentleman who started the process of asking for the order and prepping the sandwich was not behind the counter. I remember him being from NJ and being at this location from the opening. Went back and told them of the problem. ALL THE PROBLEMS. The register gentleman stepped away and let the gentleman who would not void the transaction and then told us to use or reward next time stepped in. I asked for a manager and he said there was no manager there. I asked for a phone number to call for a manager or a corporate office. Get ready-He said he did not know the number. He was asked if he wants to call out sick who would you call. He is the punch line–“I never called out sick, ever”. When asked for his name, since no one had name tags on said ,”We are not allowed to divulge that information.” Explained the sandwich was not made properly and explained the short comings. His reply, “she is a trainee”. At about this time the missing worker reappeared from the back. By this time I was flustered by the lack of anyone addressing any of the issues. This worker said well you should have been watching as the sandwich was being made. WHAT? Oh, don’t trust the workers behind the counter. After trying to get this resolved. Now the other workers joined in the event. Finally, the worker who came from the back raised his arms above his head and yelled , GET OUT. LEAVE NOW. We complied and as we departed the trainee yelled out as we walked out—Have a Blessed day. Where to start on the failures. POOR KNOWLEDGE OF MENU and signature prep items. POOR OR NON-EXISTENT IDEA WHO WAS THE MANAGER AND HOW TO CONTACT THEM. An inability to void a transaction. No and I mean ZERO ability to correct a mistake made by them. No name tags. How could you offer accolades for exceptional service? I am suspect if “Have a blessed day.” was as heart felt I believe it was meant to be. Oh and if you are curious I left a cash tip before the debacle started. I guess once the business was sold to Blackrock the pride of ownership and pride in providing a once delightful product went away.

Firstly I’ll preface by saying I’m usually a huge fan of jersey mikes, this is the only location I’ve ever had a bad experience.

People were quite unfriendly and impersonal. The food was not prepared correctly, with missing ingredients and very few of others. One of the subs we were only given half of what we had ordered, and when we had tried to go back and get a new one made, as the sub was hot and by the time we were home it was cold, we were given the hardest time by the staff, who were very rude to my mother who had gone back to get it fixed. Furthermore, we were told that we could get a new one on the phone, and when she got there they began to ridicule her and wouldn’t give her what they had told us on the phone they would. Ended up leaving without a sandwich altogether.

Overall, one of the worst jersey mikes we’ve ever been to. Will not be returning to this location, a shame as it’s one of our favorite sub spots.

Jersey Mikes always delivers, but today I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I asked for an unusual sandwich (chicken 99 mikes way mayo grilled). Anna did an impressive job on the grill, and my sandwich was the best I’ve had in decades! Shoutout to those who trained her as well!

Sunday, May 11. 2:00 pm. Food was good, service was horrible. Girl at counter was yelling at my grandma, being very condescending and rude, acting as if my grandma was senile or something when she clearly is not. Continued to be rude to my mother when she rung us up. Two dudes there were not super pleasant either but better than her. Just overall really bad customer service.

I usually have good friendly service. Not this morning at 10:30 am at this Little River SC location. The guy who took my order, John, acted at though I was major inconvenience. I was figuring he was having a busy morning so I overlooked it. I paid with a credit card and left a generous tip as is my practice. He walked away without offering a receipt. When I asked for the receipt, his facial expression and reaction said more than being inconvenienced. Wish I didn’t leave the tip. May think twice about going back. I was the only customer. The sandwich was ok

This location is a very convenient lunchtime stop for me, occasionally dinner. I usually use the app. I’m all over North and South Carolina traveling and this is the cleanest Jersey Mike’s I’ve ever stepped foot in.

My sandwich (hot or cold) is always prepared 100% correctly, packed full of protien and wrapped nice and neat sitting ready to go when I use the app. When I do get orders for family members they have commented the same. Every employee that I have interacted with has been helpful and friendly.

It is nice to have one of my favorite go-to places in this spot, keep up the excellent work!
