How can you best this⁉️ we needed to stop for a quick phone conference. Got a Virgin Mary for the wait (excellent) and then their big salad +the chicken + the bacon toppings for extra$
We got to talk with the owners, we explained we were on a long trip and that we needed the salad to “fit the truck dash” so we could eat whilst driving. The owners set us up with this awesome to go box that fit our needs perfectly. The salad was great with the extra meat and was well worth the extra money. The location and atmosphere was storybook. Definitely recommend

We were warmly greeted entering Birch and Maple and looked forward to breakfast. I decided on the Breakfast Burrito and my partner got the special of the day, Filet and Eggs. My portion was large and I ended up taking a third of the burrito home. It was tasty and well presented. I got the dynamite sauce but it would’ve been fine without. The filet was cooked medium, although we asked for medium rare and were told medium was how it came. It tasted ok but was overdone by our liking. The potatoes were obviously made on site and were delicious just a little salty. Service was outstanding and I would definitely like to return. I love menus that are limited but well done. These two choices were almost perfect. We had cocktails and coffee which is reflected in the cost per person.

Had our first breakfast experience here and were not disappointed. This is not your average, run-of-the-mill diner. My husband had the special, smoked trout and cream cheese omelet, while I had the breakfast burrito – both meals were carefully crafted and outstanding! Our server, Andrea, was the icing on the cake with her bubbly personality and impeccable attention to providing excellent service! The view across the lake is just an added bonus.

Scrumptious breakfast . Fresh! Hot! Coffee ☕ was fantastic. Server was kind, patient and attentive. Paid attention to what we ordered. It was a busy Sunday morning yet she was not frazzled. That shows it’s a great place. Management must be fantastic too! Decor is warm and cozy. Full bar. They do take reservations. You can walk in with a short wait. Think about timing for you and your party. Be patient. Worth the wait! Support this business. Support small business in your community. It’s important.

They advertise a scratch kitchen and craft cocktails and deliver on the promise.
Housemade carrot & parsnip soup was sublime with a perfect balance of warm spice and buttery richness.
Saturday night filet mignon was a bargain at $36–perfectly cooked rare steak with great char on the outside. Burger Battle entry stuffed with caramelized onions and mushrooms was juicy and delicious. Potato wedges fried in beef tallow were amazing!!! House Caesar dressing on lettuce wedge was excellent.
Service staff was attentive, attentive , and professional. As the restaurant got busy and our server has to attend to bar patrons, another server seamlessly cleared our first course and got us another round of drinks. Genuinely professional hospitality. We will be back to try everything on the menu.

We dined here on the Saturday of Memorial Day, so we were expecting a rush. Instead, there was a light buzz of conversation, and we were pleased that we didn’t need to wait for a table.
This intimate setting was comfortable for our family, but we also could see it as a killer date night spot. The enclosed porch had a beautiful view of the downtown and was a little more open, but we enjoyed the music mingling with the bartender at work from our booth, as well as the view of the ecclectic theming. The cocktail options looked amazing, but we decided to save those for a date night. Thankfully, there were just as many wonderful food choices. Portions were generous, and everything we ate—the breakfast salad, the chicken and waffle, the banana bread pudding, and even the kid’s chicken and fries—was delicious. Our waitress was extremely attentive without being intrusive, and the kitchen had our meal out in no time. We would love to come back!

We had the mushroom bisque as a starter and it was amazing! Very creamy and full of flavor! My husband had three cherry, kale salad and enjoyed it. We shared the pan seared salmon stuffed with crab cake. The salmon was a touch over done and drier than we like, but the flavors were fresh. We did the flour less chocolate cake that was decadent!

Our evening was a destination dinner to Catalonia, Spain and the Birch & Maple team knocked it out of the park. The food & wine courses were all amazing, I’m not sure I could choose a favorite. If pressed, gambas & sherry and I’m not a fan of sherry but together … a garlic filled heaven on a plate.
The entire team is so welcoming, it feels like you’re visiting with good friends. There are a few more destination dinners this winter so if you can, go!

Great place. The Bloody Mary is outstanding. Recommend spicy. Went for brunch/lunch and enjoyed the tacos while wife had salad. Kids devoured French toast.

I keep coming back here! Well-crafted dishes and desserts that never disappoint. The fried chicken and risotto have been favorites. Great apps and shared plates. Creative drinks. Love the seasonal ingredients and flavors used.
EDIT: I hope they keep the Bread Blossom on the menu forever, as well as the Hatch Queso Sliders. So good!
