I have ordered from the shop several times before. I have never had an issue with my food until today. I ordered a large cheesesteak sandwich and split it in half with another person. I took 2 bites out of my sandwich and a roach fell out through the middle of my sandwhich. I have NEVER had this happen before. I feel so disgusted.

Been to many Philly area sandwich shops through the years and Capriotti’s is legit!!
My daughter had a small cheesesteak and I went with the amazing Cole Turkey hoagie. They go with real hand carved turkey and not the garbage deli turkey meat used at many sandwich shops. Waaay too good!!
Highly recommended and I will be back again!!

Regular customer for decades. Last few purchases the amount of turkey on the Bobbue has decreased significantly. My last purchased was primarilarly a stuffing and cranberry stuffing. Dont cheat your customers!

I stopped into Capriotti’s recently and everything was fantastic. The food came out fresh, the sandwiches were loaded, and the staff was super friendly. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Definitely one of my new go-to spots for a good meal. Highly recommend this location!

First time back to this Capriottis since I moved to Florida and nothing has changed, for the bad. Still great service and great food. Ordered a cheesesteak with extra cheese. So good. Ordered online and it was ready when I got there.

We ordered lunch for a group of 5-8 people and ordered pickup. I got the chicken bacon ranch and just like when i usually get a cheesesteaks here the sandwich was light. Caps is the CHIPOTLE of the hoagie industry. My sandwich consisted of basically just lettuce, ranch, roll, and one piece of bacon. If you want a solid cheesesteak who aren’t penny pinching go to Charlie’s in Claymont or if you want to drive another 20 minutes away Delco’s Original Steaks & Hoagies. You get more bang for your buck

Great tasting sandwiches, but not what we ordered. Absolute chaos in the store. Manager did nothing to organize costumers ordering and picking up or to organize and assist her hard working staff. Manager created a very uncomfortable atmosphere by yelling and telling customers that staff was new and had never worked football season and that she’s turning off the phones for Super Bowl Sunday. No problem, we’ll take our business elsewhere.

If you’re going to charge $24 for a large sub, you better at least get the instructions right. Routinely misses requests for inclusions or omissions from the default sub setups. Good food but it’s really disappointing when you spend that much and don’t get what you ordered.

We got a large wagyu cheesesteak with fried onions and (this may have been a mistake on my part) provolone cheese. It has a very long roll. It did not pass the eye test. When I unwrapped it all I saw was the very long roll. The meat was good. Getting fried onions may have also been a mistake because I tasted a lot of fried onions. I think the hardiness of the provolone cheese took away from the tenderness of the wagyu beef. I’ll take the hit for ordering provolone cheese. I think Capriotti’s could really help themselves by having a suggested way to order your American wagyu beef cheesesteak. I am pretty sure that 90% of the Cheesesteak eating population doesn’t know what Wagyu beef is and/or the best way to order it. We are glad we tried hangman Brewing. Fun Goth Decor and live bands, not my thing but everyone else seemed to really like it. Fun story about Hangman Brewing, live bands and me.
