I went for the first time to this place this past first lent Friday. I got 3lb special to go which included 3lbs of Crawfish, 1/2 lb shrimp, 1 potato, 1 corn and a dip, I also got an extra dip. Price was reasonable around $39 after a tip. I noticed they had a good a good bit of people out side and inline waiting so I figured that was a good sign. ABSOLUTELY not. The flavor was good but the crawfish was tiny, and atleast have of my crawfish were dead before even been boiled. What a disappointment for my first time getting crawfish this season. Maybe I would overlooked how tiny they were but as many dead crawfish that I have, I can only call that bad service, I was last in line so there was no way I was rushed, even if you were to glance at that before you bagged it, you could see how many were inedible. I won’t be back, I’ve had bad tasting crawfish, but I’d rather have ok tasting crawfish that I can actually eat instead of wasting my money on half a bag I had to throw away.

I like Louisiana crawfish. Crawfish Spot restaurant is my favorite place to eat boiled crawfish. Their crawfish is always big and very tasty. I like their crawfish Cajun style because the way they season their crawfish is so delicious. This is the best boiled crawfish in Lafayette, Louisiana. Crawfish were seasoned well. Great flavor but so hard to peel. I thought it was just me but heard 4 other customers sitting at tables complain about the same. Crawfish are too expensive right now to have to fight with the shell stuck to the meat. Hopefully they figure out their cook times. Will try again.

Well seasoned!!! Loved it!!! They offer regular, medium and hot. I went for the medium. It has a kick but it’s bearable as compare to the hot (what my husband got). I loved their corn too – relatively firm and sweet. You can also request for your lbs to be split in half – to go and dine in.
As for the restaurant, it is very casual. You can dine in solo or with family.

This is the spot. Went out of crawfish season (they should have some in by now) just for the shrimp and crab boil. Great food. 5 stars for service and atmosphere as we had a great talk with Luke.
For all the people that were calling in and asking when they expected to get crawfish, my advice is to get here early because those people were serious. Just hearing Luke on the phone explaining that they should get crawfish in on Friday, one person wasn’t satisfied with the answer and wanted a time estimate, that’s how serious they are to start eating!

This place was recommended to me, so I figured I’d give it a try. It’s a smaller spot with a quiet atmosphere, at least while I was there. There’s also a drive-thru, but I chose to geaux in since it was my first time checking it out. I got 5 pounds that came with corn and potatoes. You can choose your level of spice. Regular, medium, and spicy. I got the medium, which was spicy enough for me. They were really good, seasoned well, and hot! Next time, I might try the spicy and some shrimp.
