The food tastes good but most recently I ordered buffalo wings which were made in a genuinely disappointing way. They couldn’t be bothered to at least coat my wings fully? I also didn’t get ranch with my order.

I rarely give a place a bad revoew, but this place takes the cake on that one. The service is outrageously slow! I came for 3 3pieces, and its taken 30 minutes to get the order ready. Food is subpar, but I guess its ok. Other than the slow service everything else was fine, but yeah let’s work on timeliness.

The chicken from this place was very disappointing, and the hygiene standards seemed questionable. My son and I experienced diarrhea shortly after eating it. The chicken we received was dry and cold, as if it had been sitting out for days, and the mashed potatoes were also delivered cold. I’m concerned that other customers may have a similar experience, so I wanted to report this issue.

I made an online order #40262276113629185 on 12/16/25 at 5:31pm. When I went to go pick it up at 5:45pm, the restaurant was closed.
I immediately replied to the order confirmation email asking for a refund (they shouldn’t be taking money/not refunding when their restaurants are closed). Ahmed Sharkawy, signed Customer Care Team, Church’s Texas Chicken replied saying they opened case #10234 and would contact me within 48 hours.
That day I stopped by the restaurant to ask them in person for a refund but they refused to open the window. The workers were not wearing gloves and one was picking his nose. It made me glad I didn’t get my food.
By 1/1/26 I still had not heard back so I emailed again. Ahmed answered and said he was keeping an eye on my case to ensure it gets resolved.
I contacted them again on 1/6/26 for a refund and my email was ignored. I won’t get into how this “Texas” restaurant is in fact in Atlanta or how they clearly off shore their operations to an Indian Call Center. It is now January 21st and I still have not been refunded for an order they never fulfilled because they were closed on a random Tuesday.

Chicken pieces were so small I couldn’t believe I paid $10.99 for 10 pieces. The legs were so small I got maybe 3 bites. So disappointing. It was also NOT FRESH. This is a neighborhood location, you’d think they’d take pride in their service.

So we have ordered from here before and when we got our food it was cold stale and they forgot the sauce for our chicken tenders. We decided that they may have just been having a bad day and decided to try them again tonight. And tonight was exactly the same with the addition of them forgetting to add the extra chicken strip we paid for. We won’t be returning and if you go there just make sure your food is fresh and they give you everything you paid/asked for.

My experience at Churches was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked and dry, like it had been under the heat lamp all day. But the worst part was the lack of hygiene: one woman couldn’t stop coughing without covering her mouth, and another was handling fries with her bare hands. When she saw me looking, she put them back and served them with tongs, like that made a difference. Wouldn’t recommend eating there.

I ordered a popper wrap, there was a child like 12 in the kitchen handling food with no gloves while holding frozen food and placing in fryer. Also had long hair with no hair net on. Also nobody was there besides us and she couldn’t even put the right sauce on the 1 popper wrap I bought.

I ordered dinner for my family since I was in a rush and needed to get to work. I ordered through Uber eats, the food arrived quickly. I ordered a family meal with chicken strips, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and of course the biscuits. Everything was super fresh and hot. I requested the strips be made extra spicy. They not only made my strips extra spicy they sent me extra spice packets to make them even spicier which was awesome. Then I found a note with a suggestion on how to make them even spicier, that was truly amazing. I enjoy super spicy food and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the spice level. The rare times I do order out, I get lucky with a great staff behind my order. I enjoyed my dinner with my family and left to work in a great mood because of such a small detail. Excellent staff, hot food, and fast service.

It’s always a rude person taking the drive thru orders and cashing out. However, the food is always fresh and good. I try NEVER to get food from this location, but I forget and sometimes still go and reminds me why I hate going to this one. It’s hard to mess up Churchs food, but they are still good cooks there.
