Ordered the teriyaki chicken plate. The portions were very generous. The plate was enough to last two meals for me and was very fairly priced. Very good flavor and no weird gristle or fat on the meat. Rice was fresh, and service was quick and friendly. Thank you Moku!

I’ve always ordered the teriyaki plate with Mac salad and did order something for others and this place makes the best Hawaiian teriyaki reminded me of the flavors back home on Hawaii and there is a Moku’s back home and I appreciate the food from Moku Berkeley! I decided to try this restaurant and order it from DoorDash for a late Saturday lunch. The Spam Masubi tasted okay, but I agree with other feedback the rice could be more compact for a better eating experience and more evenly distributed sauce in between for consistent taste.
The Aloha Combo Plate seemed a bit heavy on chicken rather than the short ribs and beef in comparison to other restaurants I’ve had in the area. Unfortunately, I found the flavor wasn’t as strong and on the blander end for my preference.

I ordered the Seafood Mix through DoorDash. It was delicious and huge; basically enough for at least 2 meals! Great price for the quantity and value. Sometimes I struggle to find good quality Hawaiian BBQ, but this place hit the mark .

Hawaiian beef was absolutely disgusting. It tries to be beefier than a well known chain, with chunks of hard inedible rubbery fat. I had to spit out my meal. Not returning. Quality was very offensive. I had teo good meals, but this was so bad I thi k I got lucky. I also dont like the mac much, but its ok.

Chicken katsu was somehow both over fried and barely cooked?! The breading slips right off the chicken and there’s an aftertaste.
The katsu sauce is weird, like they mixed ketchup and water.
Got the meal and the side of steamed vegetables was ONE piece of broccoli.

Incredible! The katsu chicken and crispy shrimp were still piping hot and insanely crispy after being delivered. Mac Salad and Spam Musubi also super flavourful not to mention the portion sizes. Delicious food and awesome bang for your buck
