Grew up going here as a kid was one of the best. I have lived out of Florida the last eight years. Just moved back. My husband run up to got dinner for us. Never dreamed the food had changed this much. This is supposed to be an order of sweet-and-sour, chicken teriyaki and lots of rice. I took this picture as soon as I opened it, and this is what we paid for!?! Definitely not the same place doesn’t even taste good at all. Very sad. Can’t blame this on Covid!!

I preface this review with, “it’s mall Chinese food in the middle of BFE, Florida.”
Unlike other Asian walk-up eateries in malls, this one seems to add sesame seeds to everything, no matter what you order. The noodles were spaghetti in an oil based sauce. Well cooked on texture.
I ordered a simple teriyaki chicken plate. The chicken tasted fine but was overcooked.
I asked for vegetables, and because of this request, one entire portion of chicken was removed from the plate. So, just know if you ask for vegetables, you’re forfeiting your second helping of chicken as they put the vegetables where the extra chicken would go, and give you only one portion.
The taste was thin overall. The chicken did have a bit of a char which was the only thing saving this plate. Vegetables undercooked.
Overall, portions felt too small for the price which left myself as the consumer feeling at a loss for value.
Staff was pleasant to order with. Nothing more.
Verdict: 1 star for friendliness, but sadly, never again.

We used Grubhub tonight ordering from China Max in Leesburg. After looking at the package the driver was delivering and then once in my hands, I realized the bag was not only very small, but only weighed like only a pound or so! It was the smallest Chinese food delivery I have ever received for $40 for sure! Pepper steak, General Tao chicken, white rice, and spring rolls, UNBELIEVABLE RIPOFF! Portions were ridiculously small and the the taste worse than any Chinese microwavable meal from the freeze I have ever eaten! Terrible quality. Six slices at 4″ X 1/4″ of meat. Maybe it was beef but hard to tell? The spring rolls were just awful as well! Dry and really overcooked to almost a burnt taste. Do yourself a favor, order frozen Chinese delivery from any local grocery store and cook it in your oven or microwave. You’ll not only save money but you’ll be much more satisfied with your meal.

Food was Horrible! They wouldn’t even let try a sample of the only 3 kinds of chicken they had. Honey chicken was TASTELESS. The noodles tasted like fish and were very dry. Started to feel sick after eating. Threw the rest away. Waste of money and time. Also not the most polite people. I Thought this mall was changing for the better but it’s done the opposite. Very disappointed they would let people serve this quality of food.

We got the orange chicken and fried rice. The orange chicken was nothing but fat and had a terrible after taste. The fried rice also had an after taist, was dry, and had almost no peas and no carrots. I work in the mall, so this place is very convienient, but it was TERRIBLE. Will NEVER go back! Thanks China max for an awful meal and a waisted 15$. This just shows what poor management and terrible employees does to a Buisness.
