I went here for my birthday meal around lunch time. I would recommend making a reservation just to be sure you get a table. The food was amazing especially the crispy potatoes side. I feel like the tables are tiny and you feel like you sat on top of the person next to you. The servers are lovely but asked about four different times wether we had any allergies which made me a bit concerned wether they’ve had an issue in the past but it’s of course best to be safe than sorry and I can understand why they’ve asked multiple times. The hostess was lovely when we arrived and the only staff member that looked like she enjoyed her job. It just would have been nice if they smiled and were more confident in themselves to create that connection with their customers. Other than that the atmosphere was stunning and the aesthetics was amazing to look at while enjoying my meal. Definitely instagram worthy It’s also a shame they don’t serve carbonara anymore.

I visited around 4 o’clock, and it was fairly quiet, which created a really pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into how it’s been done. The tables are a little close together, but the food and service were both excellent. While it is slightly pricey for what you get, that’s understandable given the central Birmingham location, even if it still feels a bit on the steep side. Overall, the food was lovely, the service was very good, and I would happily return.

AVOID!!!
I booked a table of 9 for my dad’s 70th birthday. However, on arrival they had it incorrectly for 7. With much hesitation and disagreement, after 10 mins they allowed us to squeeze onto the seating that was reserved for us. When seated, we had no service for drinks or given a menu until we had asked.
The menu was premium in pricing ranging from £20-£30 for a pasta, £35+ for a steak and there was no child’s menu, despite the website stating child friendly. When I asked if they had a child menu, they said they did not, but they cited they could offer “1. Tomato spaghetti 2. butter spaghetti or 3. Olive oil spaghetti”. But there was no meat nor veg, just plain spaghetti for £9. I had to order a side of broccoli to mix in for £6, there was no option to add any meat. The main menu was built for adults and the portion size would have been too much for a young child, and a few dishes contained spice and unsuitable.

When the meals came, we were SO underwhelmed, there was nothing premium about these dishes.
I had the crab spaghetti, because the restaurant was so dimly lit, the meat felt non-existent, assuming it broke down in the cooking process. Other dishes we ordered was a steak, small and burnt – terribly cooked for the price, a seafood spaghetti-too salty and oily. We were all so unimpressed by the quality, taste and surprised at the popularity of the restaurant.
Staff did not come to ask if we were ok.
We did bring a cake for my dad’s 70th, without realising that due to “allergies” they would not allow serve of this, so we were able to just bring it out with a candle. The website does mention this, but when booking it’s not noticeable. We ended up ordering from the menu for desserts.
This was the only highlight, everyone loved the desserts, we ordered a lemon meringue, tiramisu and pistachio sundae – this was ok.

Overall, service was appalling, I’ve never felt so unwelcome, it was as if we were beneath them to come this restaurant.
Price vs quality was overpriced. The Quality was ok, wasn’t amazing vs other competitors out there. But for what we all ordered, we all felt it wasn’t worth the price and the children’s menu was awful!
Wouldn’t ever come back based on service and treatment, we spent near £400 for 8 adults & 1 child. We did not enjoy this restaurant at all. I would not recommend, it is not friendly and we felt guests come for the aesthetic and the pictures, but it was not worth it for the food.
The only highlight was dessert, but pricing ranging from £7+ for ice cream, it is on the pricey side.

Honestly I think the hype for this place can be 90% attributed to the ambience which I can say is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated walls, with high ceilings makes you feel quite mesmerised. The food however is mid at best. I’m definitely not saying it’s bad but let’s just say it wasn’t memorable (or super flavourful). And the portion size was quite small for what you’re paying for, for some dishes. We didn’t particularly like the fact that we were also having to pay for the platform charge when paying for the bill (why is it on us?).

The place looks stunning. Unfortunately the rest falls a bit short for me.The food was nice and all my friends loved their dishes. I thought mine was good but I wasn’t mind blown. The menu didn’t inspire me much to start off with tbh: lot of mushrooms, seafood, grilled meat or truffle.
So many staff but yet they didn’t have time to pay attention to us. We paid using the QR code. Do double check everything! Ours had a previous table item that had been added to our bill.
Overall nice but I wouldn’t go back.

This wasn’t our first visit, but unfortunately this time the experience felt far below expectations.

I had made a special effort to pre-pay for a bottle of champagne and informed the staff in advance that it was meant to be a surprise, asking if it could be ready on the table when we were seated. When we arrived, we were politely asked for our booking details at reception, gave my name and time, and were shown to our table and handed menus. However, the waiter walked away immediately afterward.

The bottle I had pre-ordered wasn’t on the table, and no one mentioned anything about it. While reading the menu, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it might arrive shortly. After about 10–15 minutes, the waiter returned to ask if we would like to order drinks. By that point, it would have been nice to already have the arrival drinks served while we were browsing the menu. Not wanting to ruin the surprise, I hesitated, but eventually had to ask the waiter to check my reservation for the pre-order. Unfortunately, the surprise was already somewhat spoiled by then.

Food-wise, we really enjoyed the meal. The pasta was beautifully cooked, and the cocktails were delicious. However, the service overall was lacking. We had to pour the champagne ourselves throughout dinner, and there was very little attentiveness from staff. We paid over £200 including service charge, but to be honest, the level of service did not reflect that. There was also no cloakroom service available, which was quite surprising.

Overall, while the food and drinks were great, the service did not meet expectations on this occasion.

Beautiful décor supporting the relaxed atmosphere. Had a DJ which was a nice touch but don’t think necessary.

Food was better than I had expected, as I had read some bad reviews. Our waiter was amazing, he knew the menu, could explain different options based on what we preferred. He definitely made the experience more personal.

The tables are slightly too close to each other, our neighbours were served our food and we had to swap.

Me and my girlfriend visited La Bellezza last night to celebrate my birthday which was the day before. I can not fault this restaurant from the warm welcome of Arthur when we first walked in to the amazing and attentive service of our waiter Keanu. The whole evening was fantastic.
The restaurant was very busy, but the atmosphere was relaxed. We sat on a very plush sofa, the tables where paced well apart.
I had the Some Like It Hot pizza, which was packed with flavour, perfectly spicy without being overpowering, and cooked just right. My girlfriend is vegetarian and chose the Netflix and Chill pizza, which was equally impressive – fresh ingredients, generous toppings, and really enjoyable.
As it was my birthday I opted for a desert I chose the Carpaccino di Ananas a pineapple and coconut crumble. It was delivered to my table with ‘Happy Birthday’ on the plate in chocolate source. Keanu and another waiter sang a short song to me. It was a lovely touch.
You can tell real care goes into the food here, and it made for a brilliant evening. Easily one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality Italian food.

Went as a group of 6 for lunch on a Saturday, we booked ahead. Food was lovely and spoilt for choice on what to have. Only thing is when we looked on the website beforehand the menu showed smaller dish options which is very traditional italian so we thought we’d have smaller pasta dishes and have pizza however when we got there there was zero reference to the smaller dishes on the menu, and when we asked we were told no. I mean we had the normal size dishes and ate everything anyway as we were a big group. But just a heads up for anyone looking online at the menu beforehand that the small plates aren’t an option unfortunately.
