Our First Visit here for Lunch was an Excellent Dining Experence. Our Waitress, Camila, was very polite and Professional. We ordered off the Lunch Menu and had the Busto Combo and the Philly CheeseSteak Combo. Both arrived hot and fresh and the taste was mouth watering. The Busto Burger is two perfectly cooked patties and double cheese. The Philly CheeseSteak was fine thinly sliced meat with grilled onions and peppers on the side. Our First Trip here was wonderful and extremely enjoyable. Grannys Diner in Samson AL is worth the trip to visit a Very Nostaligic Diner.

First time eating here and it’s so cute! The food was delicious. It’s not a buffet but a hot bar where you can choose two meats and two or three sides. The two meats and three sides is only a dollar more. They also have a menu, and we got a BLT and fried green tomatoes. Would eat here again!

We came from out of state to an event and came to Granny’s just as they opened on a Saturday. The staff is very welcoming and courteous. We were invited to peek at the hot bar or order off of the menu. Hot bar had fried chicken, baked chicken, and ham with sides. Everything looked very fresh. I had red neck nachos off the menu and in addition to it tasting great, the serving was huge. We had an appetizer sampler and all of the veggies were fresh, again very generous portion. My husband had a pork chop dinner and he loved it as well. Granny’s is a casual hometown type of place. Many regulars came in. Everyone was pleasant and it was so nice to be around everyone just appreciating a tasty meal.

I went to this place years ago and NEVER forgot it. I remember being nervous with my family because we were the only black family there. Lol! No many of my kind around. But when I tell you those were some of the most friendliest people ❤️. The food was awesome!! I can’t wait to go back! And they were inexpensive. My family still talks about this place lol!

If you’re looking for a hole in the wall with amazing country cooking, this is it! And very affordable! We stopped by for a meal on the way home from the beach and they did not disappoint!!

Sad to say salad bar was bout the only thing that was good. Server only came to our table three times in an hour. Once to take our drink order then food order and to bring our food. Had to ask for salad plate after 15 min because she forgot. Never got a refill on sweet tea. Steak was horrible you could tell it was defrosted from a freezer and too thin to even cook it med rare. I couldn’t eat anymore of it so just left it. If I go back it definitely won’t be for a steak.

Just stopped in on the way to the beach for a Sunday lunch. Very dry baked chicken..ate a couple bites that I could barely choke down and left the rest. Mashed potatoes and peas were hospital cafeteria quality. Roll and greens were the only decent thing. Unfortunately salad bar was an extra $2 on top of the already $12 meal, and my son’s one scoop ice cream was nearly $4. We will sadly have to drive down the road and stop for a second lunch after $30 spent there. Service was not bad. Do not recommend and will not be back.

Wonderful people, clean, on point table service, easy accessible to the highway. Did I mention the food prices, very reasonable for what you get. Options are plenty.
