I recently visited this bar a few weeks ago. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and an Arnold Palmer. My friends all got different cocktails and they also ordered a few appetizers. The consensus wad that the food is one step above a fast food joint and the drinks were okay. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves and we’re very friendly. Overall, I think if the food and drink quality is raised, that this place could be a hidden gem.

We visited December 2024. We sat at the bar. The spinach artichoke dip was very good! We ordered it with soft pita bread and it was great! I would highly recommend! Wings were good as were the chicken tacos. They have Coke products.
Games – pool tables, darts.

Pizza and burgers were very good. Happy hour prices and the wine & beer selection were also good. Service unfortunately, was poor. Granted it was happy hour, but the busy server didn’t seem to care about us or our experience. Attitude. Bummer.

I placed a to go order of chicken strips and tator tots, and after 30 mins or more I had to ask where my food was and then when it was brought out to me it was cold and they didn’t put the lid on the bbq sauce so everything was drenched in sauce and when I took it back up to the bar and showed the bar tender he looks at it and said what’s wrong I told him I wanted a fresh order that wasn’t drenched in sauce and he looks at it and says I don’t think the kitchen is still making food and pokes at the order and I had to ask for my money back only to get an attitude from the bar tender. I have been staying in the hotel for over a week now (which I do a few times a year) and this is by far the absolute worst service I have ever received here. Which is saying something because their service has never been that good. But this like I said was the absolute worst ever. They have the best steak in town so when I received my cold smothered chicken strips and then got nothing but attitude, makes it hard for me to want to come back and if it weren’t for the amazing staff in the hotel, I probably would never come back here after tonight

I just recently found this place as I am a new member to Missoula. I have loved the atmosphere, food and service every single time that I’ve come in. Yesterday, I had proposed to my girlfriend and to celebrate she said that she wanted to go here!

I had hoped for an enjoyable dining experience at The Still Room, given its reputation and appealing atmosphere. Unfortunately, what unfolded during my recent visit was a deeply disappointing example of unprofessional service that overshadowed any merits the establishment might possess.
Most notably, The Male bartender and the waitress that were on shift.. appeared to be under the influence of a substance—specifically, they exhibited behavior consistent with intoxication and carried a strong and unmistakable odor of marijuana. Their speech was slurred at times, their coordination noticeably impaired, and their general demeanor lacked the attentiveness and clarity one would expect from staff in any professional setting, let alone in hospitality.
Such conduct is not only inappropriate but potentially hazardous. Restaurants have a responsibility to ensure their employees are in a fit state to perform their duties, especially when interacting directly with guests and handling food and beverages. The failure to uphold even the most basic standard of professionalism significantly marred the experience and raised serious concerns about management oversight and workplace policy enforcement.
To be clear, my intention is not to be punitive, but rather to advocate for a safe and respectful dining environment for all patrons. I would strongly encourage the management to investigate this matter thoroughly and implement appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
Regrettably, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning unless meaningful changes are made.
