Our family loves Mexican restaurants and I’m sad to say disappointed by the service, portions and experience here at Azteca. The food tasted great and we ate all of it. Portions were smaller than most other places we’ve been. Asked for chips 3-4 times, salsa 2 times, drink refills 3 times and 2 orders were incorrect. You might have better luck this was New Year’s eve so they probably wanted to leave early. You can try it out but we don’t plan to visit again.

Food was not what I ordered. Then fixed the issue 10 minutes later. By then my food was cold. Asked them to heat it up she brought it back and still cold. By then I wanted to eat somewhere else because my family was already done at this point. Asked her to just take it off the bill because I was done with them. She say, “no problem”. Then the bill comes and refused to honor what they said, then played dumb. Do not go to this establishment. Way overpriced for the quality of food and service.

Fairly good neighborhood Mexican restaurant near Publix in Lake Wylie. Large selection of lunch specials. Pictured Photos are the $6.99 “Speedy Gonzales” lunch special of 1 ground beef taco (good); 1 enchilada of your choice (I chose chicken verde – just OK); and refried beans (excellent); the made-to-order Chilaquiles (outstanding!); & their chicken quesadilla (good!).Complimentary chips & salsa with any selection. Service is super friendly and efficient. Family friendly. Interior is on the small side. Decor is “old-ish” & could use a refresh. However, VERY pleasant, attractive, peaceful & CLEAN outside patio dining also available (see photo). Take-out available. Parking can be challenging.

This was our first time visit. It looked bigger online but good things can come in small packages. Everything was great. All of our plates were cleaned. I had the Honey Chipotle Chicken and it was delicious. A bit pricey at $70 plus tip. 2 adults 2 kids and 2 sodas. Might leave the kids home next time.

Solid mexican food. Good chips and salsa, and fresh good food. I got the Arroz con Pollo and it was different then others I had, but different in a good way. Tasted like it was fresh off the grill. I’d definitely return, even though it was pricey. The dish I got was $14.

Great food and atmosphere! Had the burrito and enchilada combo , it was very good , great patio to sit out on, unfortunately they allow smoking anywhere on patio, should be on area away from everyone else, decent drink prices, my wife had the fried ice cream which she enjoyed, great service as well, thank you !

We have eaten in a this place a while back, but this day we wanted take out. Ordering was easy. No mention on online menu or person taking order that they charge extra if using a credit card. Food was cold by the time we got home 2 miles away. Portion for lunch burrito was very close to kids burrito. Food was bland. Best part was the salsa that came with the chips. Probably not going back.
