The Popeyes off 620 in Round Rock is truly one of the best-run locations I’ve ever visited. Every single time I come here, the team greets me with genuine smiles and positive energy. My orders are always fresh, hot, and perfectly accurate—consistency you don’t find often these days.
Keily, Suyapa, Rolando, and Zachariah deserve a special shout-out for their friendliness and great customer service. They don’t just take your order; they actually care—asking how my day and family are doing, which makes every visit feel personal.
The one thing I suggest is for the TVs to maybe show cartoons, sporting events or short shows – just a thought.
The restaurant is spotless, from the dining area to the bathrooms, and the food tastes just as good as it looks. It’s rare to find fast food with this level of warmth and pride in what they do. Round Rock’s Popeyes on 620 is a true gem.

I went through the drive-thru to order the special, and the cashier was very rude when I simply asked questions about the prices. I come to this location at least five times a week, and if the prices change, I have every right to ask questions and receive good customer service.
When I pulled up to the window and asked to speak to the manager, the cashier suddenly acted as if she didn’t understand me and completely ignored my request. She then walked away in a rude manner and called someone on the phone who claimed to be the manager. Although he apologized, there was no real comfort, no accountability, and no attempt to provide customer satisfaction.
Beware when you visit this location—especially the drive-thru—because they do not treat their customers with respect.
I truly wish I could pull Employees like Zachary that displays such enthusiasm and pride in what they do for work. You would have thought he was Owner of this popeyes with the level of assistance and courtesy shown! (Cherry pie was delish) Chicken was hot and fresh. Ordered drive-thru, so outside of building appeared clean! (I’ve seen where packets and trash is never swept outside, windows aren’t cleaned, so can only imagine other areas!)
Wish we had more like Zachary’s attitude in the fast food chain Industry! If you take pride in what you do working in any industry, your moment will come soon on a grand scale if so desired! You never know whose watching!!
Zachary, I hope you are looking into leadership or even franchising, as you certainly deserve to level up if so desired! Keep up the wonderful service level and work!
I came with my family for dinner. I ordered three number 1 and one of the number two combo with bacon and cheese. I decided that I wanted a water cup. So I get up and go to the register. This time the manager is tending the register, I ask for a water cup and he says we don’t have any. I said okay, then can I get a normal to get water and he says no because you have pay for it. I was really shocked that he was unwilling to remedy the situation, but decide it wasn’t worth it and just sat back down.
Our food is finally ready, and I go grab our food silently and sit back down. A second later I get called back up by the other employee to pick up the remaining order. As the employee handed me the sandwich, I said thank you to him. I could tell the manager was annoyed that I said thank you to the employee, and not when I received my order from him (the manager) earlier. I check all the sandwiches and realize that they gave a normal chicken sandwich without the bacon and cheese. I go back to the register and explain the problem along with the receipt. He says that I didn’t pay for the bacon and cheese. I said okay, that’s weird because the number 2 on the menu above your head says “with bacon and cheese”. He continues that it’s an add-on. I said that’s fine. Just give me a refund on this sandwich and let me buy a new sandwich with the bacon and cheese. He says okay. And then as he’s working on the register he says “you don’t have to talk to me like that”. It was clear I was bit agitated but I wasn’t rude to him in anyway. I asked him for his name so I can talk to his supervisor, but he refused to give me his name. He said “go ahead report me. A lot of people do and nothing is going to happen.”
That’s when I snapped a picture of him so that I could help the supervisor identify the manager on duty. That’s when he decided that he was no longer going to refund my sandwich and not sell me the corrected sandwich. He said I’m not allowed to take a picture of him. I told him it’s legal in Texas to take people’s pictures in public places and that I wouldn’t have to take his picture if he just provided me his name. The other two employees were wearing name tags but him. I ended up thanking the other two employees who were kind and served us tonight before leaving.
This is a shame because I used to come here with my family pretty regularly. Believe all the reviews on here. The service here is really crappy and they religiously get the orders wrong. They have about an 80% error rate every time I’ve been here.
