We ate at Captain Anderson’s for the first time on a Friday night in February. It was like the OG was seafood restaurants! We enjoyed visiting the gift shop while we waited for our table. When it was time to be seated we were shocked how big the restaurant was! We sat in the main dining room and were impressed with the little sign at our table saying Tina was going to wait on us and that she had worked there 20 years! I’ve never been to another restaurant who seems to take such pride in their staff! And they had a lot of staff! Guys just standing and watching for a table to clean! It was impressive! We ordered their chilled shrimp and baked oysters for appetizers – both were excellent. But it was their main course that we loved the most! Tina suggested ordering their different fish Imperial style – charcoal grilled and topped with lump crab and a delicate butter sauce. It was perfection! Then we took home two different desserts. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Ate here for the first time and I did not regret it. The wait can be long bc it’s so popular. Daniel was our server and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Everything we had was delicious. From drinks, to appetizers, to main course. Especially the rolls that came with the crab fingers. We definitely will be back.

Went for a birthday dinner with family. We haven’t been here in years, and it is still just as good as it was years ago! From the friendly service to the amazing food, everything was absolutely wonderful! Captain Andersons never disappoints! Thank y’all for a wonderful evening!

When we first moved to PCB, we never considered visiting Captain Anderson’s as we heard it was an expensive tourist trap. UNTRUE! For a nice dining experience, it is actually well-priced. The food quality is consistently solid and the service level has been top-tier every time we visit, and we are now regulars. Try the churrasco steak, you won’t be sorry!

Returned here looking for the same good experience we have had in the past. This visit was not what we have had in the past. The food was mediocre for the price. I had some small over cooked cold rubber scallops that were not worth the over 1 hour wait (just to get a table) We will have to look for a new favorite place next time.

Just a great dining experience. First of of the food was delicious. We had grouper, shrimp, scallops, and seafood platters. Everything was fresh and amazing.
The waitstaff was helpful with suggestions and very courteous.
The atmosphere was fun and beachy. They are very popular, and for good reason, so be prepared for a little bit of a wait. Trust me, it is well worth the wait. Also we spent about $50+ a person but we pigged out.
Don’t skip this place.

Overall a very good experience and prices are very reasonable compared to others in the area. We went for an early dinner here for the first time, and probably won’t repeat that again! We were very rushed, and felt like we were being pushed out the door! The food was good-the main meal came out to quickly and we didn’t have time to eat our salad. Highly recommend the hush puppies! And the Greek style fish!

The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is great as well. We had a party of 12 and while most of the people enjoyed the food, mine was just OK. I got the captains platter and while some of the food was good, the scallops were absolutely terrible. It’s as if they were cooked from frozen, they were spongy and the breading was terribly soggy. This is the second time I’ve had the same experience. With that being said, we will definitely eat there again however, I will order something different.

10 of us – had been there about 3 years ago and looked forward to going back but don’t hope to ever go back. Been eating for several days on Front Rd seafood places & they were all better. Place is real nice and waiters very good. Seafood was bland & all of us were disappointed. Portions seem a lot smaller. If you want to split a meal – $3, baked potato $3, Seafood platter no hushpuppies, you’d think a Seafood place would offer Slaw, (salad was good though)
then on top of that you are charged to use credit card!
Sorry, don’t think I’ll be going there again!

The food was perfect! We were celebrating our 45th anniversary. Our servers brought a piece of cake with a candle and sang to us. My mist favorite restaurant! ❤️
