What a great a problem! I love pizza and I found the pot ò gold in pizza. Three lunchs in a row since I found out about this and I still crave for day four. The price is nice for a few slices and a good variety of choices. The food has been awesome! Venice FL is lucky to have such great pizza!

April 18, 2025 – Takeout for 3. Good Friday so maybe busier then most days? Told 30 to 45 minutes for the two pizza to pick up?
Our first time trying these folks out. I killed time by hitting Publix for a few items.
Got a large Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a large Plain Cheese. ~ $41 bucks for both.
I need to remember to open the boxes on these right out of the oven pizza, they are going to be cold no matter what I do, but with the lids down, especially stacked on the seat they get steamed and cardboard bottom gets soggy even??? Take out is not a great way to test restaurants??
The Plain (the reference standard right?) Tasty top, cheese is nice, a little sweetness in the sauce. nice thin crust, although the bottom was almost pure white, and very soft/damp. Could have used a tad (any) of browning? The crust was soft and doughy and not raw bot only lightly cooked and also not toasted or brown but dough white. Undercooked. I guess they were in a hurry to get all those pies out and through the cooking process? 6/10 on the plain pizza rating for us Philly and NY/Long Island folks. In the Venice/Osprey area maybe an 8/10.
The Buffalo Chicken is my wife’s ask. We have had a few in the areas but none are really that good, everyone insists on breaded/fried chicken chunks or slices and it just eats like a fish stick on a pizza? A real buffalo pizza has a baked spicy chicken pieces/strips with Tabasco and nice spice like a real buffalo wing? Have not found that here. The dough on this pizza was also undercooked and the crust a bit larger in diameter than the plain pie we got and is was VERY dough and “limp” when you picked up the piece and way undercooked in the middle. The breaded chicken / fried seemed to have leeched out its oils from the breading and it has puddled on the cheese or maybe that was a buffalo sauce. One nice feature is there was NOT all this faux blue cheese or ranch dribble all over the pizza as some places do!!!! 4/10
We will GO here into the restaurant and order table service since it is the 1st or second closest pizza place to our home now in Venice. Also will give them a pass for being Good Friday and probably one of the busiest take out nights of the year??

As I suggested in my first review. I got here “early” to wait to get the pies right as they came out!!! I kept the boxes cracked open so they did not steam or keep cooking. This worked VERY well!!!
Both of these pizza (buffalo and a plain) were properly and thoroughly cooked. the crust was lovely and the cheese and for the buffalo the chicken very nice. A very nice improvement over my first visit 5 months previous.
We still need to go inside and sit down and have a meal there!!

Waitress was attentive, kind and a pleasure to host my wife and I. We got the crispy lasagna bites.. they were amazing. The homemade marinara dipping sauce really made it deliciouso. We got the chicken parmigiana and chicken alfredo linguine, my wife and I loved it! Highly recommend this place for great italian food… they use great mozzarella cheeses and their marinara / pasta sauces are On-Point! Just like Nonna used to make it!

Sara at the bar is absolutely AMAZING. She works harder than the rest of the staff and it shows. Always willing to make your experience the very best.
The other gentleman working the bar tonight was also helpful. We had some delicious espresso martinis, dirty martini, and a Tito’s and cran/iced tea. Tonight I chose to share the Italian chopped salad to spilt as an appetizer. I chose the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and my guest chose the chicken puttanesca. Both were phenomenal. Can’t wait to come back again!

The pizza is absolutely delicious with fresh tasting sauce and quality mozzarella. It is thin and crisp and can rival any north eastern pizza from NY, NJ and CT. I love the cozy atmosphere and the prices are really reasonable compared to most places. Obviously the chef makes the pizza with love and has a good heart about keeping prices affordable for families. The bar and decor are very nice, even the outside front is lovely with tables and pretty black and white curtains. Next time I will try their cheese ravioli and my husband will try the lasagna. The servers are all down to earth and friendly and care about the customers. Sometimes it gets busy but it’s definitely worth the wait. I also loved the Florida Fresh salad. The meatball appetizer was also delicious, real Italian style.

My husband and I just left and we left absolutely stuffed and so delighted. We sat on the dining side and were served by Ruth who was a great server. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming, the staff are great, and the food will put you in the most wonderful of food comas. In addition to all of the above they have a bowl of water outside the establishment on the sidewalk for any thirsty canine friends who might be walking nearby. That’s right, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better they make a simple yet kind gesture that adds to their ever growing appeal. Definitely give them a visit.

We waited an hour and a half. My husband ordered a meatball sub and the server brought a chicken parm. She took it back and never brought his food back. She recommended the chicken Marsala, absolutely no flavor! Such a disappointing experience after hearing such great reviews. We left and went home and made my hubby a hot dog. They need to hire more staff for the volume of people they served. Couldn’t find a manager to express out disappointment.
