Inexplicably, I walked to a seat at the counter for lunch, a lady literally moved me aside and sat down. The wonderful young lady who was seating people addressed her and let her know I was there before her and that she owed me an apology, extremely well handled. The lady went on with her meal like it meant nothing. No one else did a thing about it. No need to return there.

Such a diverse menu! Tried something new to me. Not a fan favorite – even though many others are. I didn’t make a fuss, just figured I’ll order something else next time. Server (so freakin sweet) brought me something else. Pretty much insisted. They truly are customer focused.

Our waitress was wonderful and the twenty minute wait did not bother us. In fact, judging by it it’s possible we were expecting to be more wowed by the food. It is possible we just both ordered the wrong things for that to happen. Please don’t get me wrong, it was not terrible and there was nothing fundamentally wrong with it. The grits were phenomenal. However, the omelette I ordered was ok but the avocado was nearly rock hard and it was covered in a sauce that WAS listed on the menu but I didn’t expect there to be so much of it and it was not good.

Just moved here from the west coast, and we sure love our breakfast. Hands down this has been the best restraunt we’ve had breakfast ever! We found our new spot for homestyle comfort food.

4.4 Stars, Nice little hidden gem, good menu selection to pick from. Fresh tasty food, great flavor. The home made Cornbeef n Hash was fantastic. Biscuits and Gravy were good. Will definitely be back.

What a great breakfast! The Cobb Benedict was excellent! The eggs were perfect. The omelets were delicious. The food came out hot and fast. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

I dropped in for breakfast at 9:45 on a Friday and found the lobby filled to capacity with patrons waiting to be seated. Unfortunately, no one was manning the hostess stand so I waited… and waited… and waited. Eventually a disinterested young man arrived and without any sort of greeting simply said, “Name?” I provided my name, then asked if counter seating was first- come, first- served. It was, so I took a seat. The wait staff was far better — friendly, timely. I placed my order (a breakfast burrito and a side of bacon) within five minutes of being seated. And then waited… and waited… and waited. The gentleman to my right, who ordered after me, received and nearly finished his meal by the time my meal arrived. For the record, my meal was good. A bit oily, but very tasty. Bottom line: decent food, lousy service.

I hadn’t been here in a while and was excited to come back for breakfast, but it was a big disappointment. The food was bland and lacked any real character. The restaurant itself felt too neutral—there wasn’t a single holiday decoration anywhere.
The coffee was especially bad—worse than gas station coffee—which was surprising for a breakfast place. The pancakes were okay, the waffles were fine, but overall the food wasn’t enjoyable. Most of it ended up boxed to go and wasn’t eaten later.
Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or came on an off day, but based on this experience, I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Food was good and average prices. I will definitely be back for breakfast. Eggs and breakfast potato’s were good. We also ordered the chilli omelette that was great. The biscuits were lightly grilled and the Gravy was good.
