My server Adelede was super kind. Seating isn’t very comfortable with the exception of the long booth along the wall. It’s mostly a Bar/Club Vibe with great music and energy. I definitely recommend coming here for the music and club vibe. Food is fresh and nicely presented. Will try other options in the future.
I was meeting a Group here and arrived early to dine. The Group is Patrick’s OC HH. This place accommodated our 75-100 group and it was a fun time for all.
Parking Garage is FREE and shared with other restaurants and businesses in Triangle Park.
We visited Café Salvilla in Costa Mesa with a group of 13 people, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were left waiting for over 1.5 hours before anything meaningful was served. Initially, one staff member briefly explained the beverage menu and then disappeared. We had to ask multiple times just to get water, and they only brought one small bottle that barely filled four cups for the entire group. More water was finally brought when the food was served—after a long wait.
During the evening, the lights went out and came back on twice, and not a single staff member acknowledged it, apologized, or offered any explanation. It added to the overall feeling of disorganization and lack of care.
After the long delay, they brought out bread and sauce and finally took beverage orders. It was clear they were severely understaffed and not prepared to handle a large group.
The menu was very limited and confusing—only 3 or 4 options, each meant to serve four people. Dishes were not served together, and no one explained how the courses would work. There were also no serving utensils, which made sharing plates concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
We were told that three meal orders would be enough for the group, but in reality, five people had to share a dish meant for four. Everyone was still charged the same—$48 per person. With tax and tip, the total came to $62 per person. That kind of price might be reasonable for excellent service and a smooth experience, but this was far from it.
While the food itself was decent, the service, wait time, and overall experience did not justify the cost. For $62 per person, you can have a much better meal elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this place for group dining.
What about the taste?
Absolutely great. We ordered the braised short Rib and the salmon with chorizo as the mains. Flavor matched the portion size! The table side flambe finish 2nd course, spectacular!
We enjoyed the live music at the bar and at the same time there was a dancing session going on in the main ballroom. Coming again if they fix the seafood issue 😉
