(typically 2 in most Italian households 1 upstairs and 1 in bashement) lol
Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

I can truly say everything on the menu is a must have
I’ve been going here since I was a child grew up on Freddy’s the owners are great caring & stand up people too they do a lot for the community.
Nona’s kitchen. If you want authentic Italian food with old-school charm, you won’t find a better spot. Highly recommend to check it out when in the area also know it is Cash only. Traveled all the way from Aurora and it was well worth it!! The staff was super friendly!
I had the vodka sauce gnocchi and gelato. The gnocchi was tender and the vodka sauce was rich without being too heavy. The gelato was smooth and a great way to end the meal. Definitely worth the stop.
Food is authentic Italian no photography allowed. Portions are copious amounts and tender delicious was the chicken parmesan.
Gelato is an amazing piece of art just to look at. Smooth as silk creamy. I had some pistachio and lemon cello.
Even the customers are kind and courteous. I’m not in that area very often at all. But if I were, I’d go back in there!
I had the Italian Sub, and it was absolutely awesome. The giardiniera inside added a great spicy kick, which I really liked. I also appreciated that they didn’t include prosciutto—it kept the flavors cleaner and more balanced. The bread was soft with a classic hoagie-like taste, which worked perfectly with the sandwich.
I also tried the Chicken Milanesa, which was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the breadcrumbs had just the right amount of seasoning—really well done.
The only disappointment was the jar of mixed olives. The flavor was flat and underwhelming—I’d definitely skip that next time.
Next visit, I’m absolutely getting another sandwich, probably trying one of the hot dishes, and maybe grabbing a small Italian ice to finish things off.
The deli’s in a pretty colorful neighborhood—lots of loud music and cars with hydraulics rolling through. Felt like something out of a 1980s movie. Definitely adds character to the experience.
Every time I visit, it brings me back home with all the great memories.
The food is always fresh and consistently delicious.
