Stopped in for an overnight, had the BLT and fries. Excellent. The best fries I’ve had since I was a kid. That was my first thought. Must be the beef tallow and the fact that the chef cares about his craft. Waitress Marley was attentive and a sweet young lady. Thank you!

Im a trucker and I decided to layover at the Flying J. I saw there was a “real” restaurant, no offense Denny’s,… Rolling Hills Restaurant is actually less expensive than Denny’s and you get larger portions. Each item is ordered was fabulous! I ordered the Wrangler burger and fries. The burger was one of the best and largest burgers I’ve had in a long time! The presentation of the burger was very appetizing! The BBQ sauce is amazing!! Tastes homemade. The fries were simply fabulous! Not a regular style of fries. Great service and customer satisfaction seemed to be their mission. If im ever through here again, I’ll be stopping here again! Keep up the great work!

Always good food. Lunch today was a chicken bacon wrap and French fries hot out of the fryer. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft inside. Coffee here is always good. The servers are really nice and attentive. Not my first time here, and it definitely won’t be the last. This is a restaurant that has you coming back again and again.

Great mushroom swiss burger with a mountain of fries. Local soup called ‘The Famous Knoephla’ is similiar to a chicken dumpling soup, without the chicken, but very tastey. Great service. Heavy beef and steak menu. Crowd is rancher heavy.

A diamond in the rough and winters can indeed be rough. Ample parking for cars and trucks alike. The chicken fried steak and Rolling Hills omelet are our favorite breakfast here. A local favorite also so expect it to be busy on the weekend. Desert case will ruin your diet. Well worth the stop.

Best fries ever! My husband and I ate here for lunch and dinner. For the first day we had a burger and a Philly cheesesteaks. They are very generous with the portions. Plenty of meat on my Philly and bell peppers and onions were great. The fries were absolutely delicious and hot possibly the best we ever had. The second day we had a patty melt, quesadilla, and fries. The quesadillas had a generous amount of chicken in each bite. Again fries were awesome with a side of ranch! Both servers were attentive and kind. Can’t wait to be back!

You know I’ve been A Truck Driver for 26yrs and I never tried this Restaurant, this is the best breakfast I have ever tried on the road. The portions that you receive is worth the price. My meal consists of the 3 meats omelette and hash browns with wheat toast. My server Terra was super super nice and I enjoyed her welcome services Thank you Terra for your professionalism and Rolling Hills Restaurant Team, if I could give you all 10 stars I would . Sorry I ate half of my meal (Signing out a Shaffer Driver)

My wife and I tried out Rolling Hills Restaurant last week. It is on the north side of the Shell gas station convenience store (opposite of the Subway). The food was hearty and heavy, tasting amazing. Service was exceptional and we plan to come back even if for the super fries appetizer. I got the Rolling Hills Burger and my wife got the knoephila soup in a bread bowl. Definitely will be back again.

The dining area was a little dark and in need of little TLC.
Plenty of parking for large rigs given it’s connected to truck stop. Lots of flies and it was a long time to get our food. But I think there were only 2 or 3 people taking care of the entire restaurant.
They were pretty busy. So given all that, service was good, food was decent, prices were good, portions were good.

We’d stop there again as long as we have the time to wait for the food.

At the pilot flying j truck stop there is a little restaurant inside named the rolling hills restaurant. The restaurant itself is small but clean. The service was good. They were very busy when we went. When our food came out it was better then expected. Everything was perfectly cooked not over done. This is one of our new food stops in North Dakota. Highly recommend a stop.
