My first time here and it was excellent. I will definitely come back. Coffee and food was great. There were plenty of comfortable chairs and couches to sit on.

The service her is terrible; I have been in a number of times and the staff is consistently rude and snotty. They brag about roasting their own beans, but the finished product is inconsistent. I have been charged more than the menu price more than once and they make their mochas with powdered chocolate milk and they are way too sweet. The food can be delicious if heated up correctly. All in all I am consistently disappointed.

Service was cold, coffee was hot! I came for the coffee but service does matter. They said they would call when coffee was ready. They have an outdoor area open to the inside so you can hear when they call. Never heard them call anyone while outside, forty feet from counter with an open wall between us. When I went to check drinks, ours were on the counter. I asked if they were mine, “yes”; which is which? “They are labeled”. Then I hear same girl call an order. Mumble would be more like it. Certainly would not hear her unless I was at the counter.

Drinks were hot and flavorful. But not any better than anyplace else in the area.

Price was good. I even over tipped before the full experience. Wish I had tipped less, much less.

Wife liked it, so we will try again.

Great vibe at Caffeina with a helpful staff and good coffee. The Americano had a good crème and the cappuccino was hot but a little foamy. No worries. Would come back again.

I wish I could start by giving the atmosphere 10/5 stars. This little spot is for sure in my top 5 coffee shops in the Boise area.

I love coming here to get some work done. The vibe is so cozy & chill. Amazing natural light, cozy furnishings, LOTS of plug -ins for laptops, plus yummy drinks & snacks!! Amazing plants, cheerful staff, and tons and tons of indoor & outdoor seating. (also a large roll up door for fresh air when it’s nice out) I’ve never had a bad bite of food here, and I’ve tried everything from the scones to the soup. You truly can’t go wrong.

If you need a spot to read, chill, or just have a decompressing moment – I totally suggest Caffeina. Great for work meetings & everything else! Cheers!!

It’s super expensive… and not just in a typical coffee shop way which is too bad because the atmosphere and vibe are amazing. The tea has different cost per size and they have the same amount of tea bags so you pay a lot more for hot water . in my opinion you should also have a tea pots available, it all costs the same it’s just one fancy tea bag! The non-coffee drink, sir also ridiculous like hot chocolate should not be the same as a latte.

I feel like they can make a few basic changes to their pricing to make their customers happy and want to continue to support them.

Cute coffee shop, surprised by the number of gluten free pastries that they offered – GF granola bar, GF sugar cookie and I believe a GF cinnamon roll. I ordered a basic cold brew with heavy cream, but my daughter ordered the S’mores drink – amazing! I will check out Caffeina when I’m in the area, the atmosphere and vibes are very comforting and relaxing, great way to unwind alone or with friends. There’s also a heated patio area as well.

Baristas refused to sell me wholesale coffee after I had previously done so multiple times. Insisted there was no way to ring it up which is patently false. Waste of my time, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This location doesn’t have enough mugs fir their customers, the wifi doesn’t work throughout the whole cafe, they don’t keep the drip dispensers full and stocked up, nor is the area kept clean, the honey does not pour from the spout properly, so is always a dirty health code violation, the bathrooms always smell bad, they have a seasonal fly problem that they don’t try to fix, they rarely rotate their drip coffee roasts

I verified that the Barristas know that half of there cafe does not have functional Wi-Fi. They know, and they don’t fix it.

Please stop serving Upala. It’s Acidic and gross, not a good choice for a Dark Roast on a Foggy morning.
I asked the baristas if they would please make me a Dark Sumatra Americano, just to be told loudly, “that’s all we have” and being argued with about the roast style acidity and how it effects my stomach. Some of these baristas have gotten so spoiled they don’t even try to give any kind of kindness or customer service. I’d much rather take a Newby with a good attitude and work ethic.

Probably, Caffeina could use some new coffee roasts. After like three years of the same roasts, it’d be nice to have some variety. If you have some good roasters let’s see what they can do.
