We walked in without a reservation, but fortunately, they had seats at the bar. If you’re planning to dine here, I highly recommend making a reservation. We noticed that the restaurant was quite busy with large parties, and considering its small size, it’s best to book a table in advance.

The food was absolutely amazing. The steak tartare was incredibly tender and one of the best I’ve ever had. The ribeye steak, however, took a bit longer to arrive, which was understandable given the large crowd. Since we were seated at the bar, our bartender was incredibly kind and made us a delicious non-alcoholic drink to keep us entertained while we waited. The steak was cooked to perfection with a beautiful char.

If you’re visiting and looking for a fantastic steak, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Don Diablo expecting a quality steak dinner and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy time with friends. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

The music was far too loud, making conversation difficult. The service felt overly pushy rather than genuinely attentive.

The steak was served significantly undercooked. When I asked for it to be cooked further, it appeared to be finished with a direct gas flame instead of properly returned to the grill, which negatively affected the taste. I was unable to eat parts of it.

For €180, we expected much higher quality in both food and overall experience. We have had far better meals in Medellín at better prices.

First and foremost Daniela and Franco were great bartenders. They are a major reason that I came back to visit a second night in a row. Secondly the food was Top Notch!!!! 10/10. The prices for the food was very good also. I just love this place, and we even got a chance to say Hello to the Chefs. This busy place and the Chefs still had time to say Hi to a few American Chefs.

I’m still pinning myself for being skeptical, but this dining experience was truly UNBELIEVABLE! Every aspect exceeded my expectations in ways I never thought possible. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable, attentive, and knowledgeable.

The Food:
Each dish was a work of art, with flavors, textures, and presentation that blew me away. The chef’s creativity and skill are unmatched. Every bite was a revelation.

Ambiance:
The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, perfect for a special occasion or a night out with friends who appreciate fine dining.

Recommendations:
If you’re a fan of high-end dining, this place is an absolute MUST-VISIT. Be sure to:

– Make a reservation well in advance
– Ask your server for wine pairings (trust me, it makes a difference)
– Be prepared for a culinary journey that will leave you speechless

Completely overrated, overpriced, wouldn’t spend my money again in this place, we ordered the porterhouse steak and 2 ribeye steaks, the porterhouse was slightly overcooked, the ribeye was decent but still too overpriced for what you get regarding quality. Don’t waste your money.

Honestly, the best we had was the potatoes and the veggies and…the old fashioned was good too. Regarding to the steak: well, very normal for the prices and for being a steak restaurant. Asked for 3/4 and one part was over cooked whereas the rest was medium. Also, very salty and dry. Anyways, the concept is interesting, the atmosphere is beautiful and the service was amazing, but nothing special about the steak. So, def I will not be dying for being back. San Carbón has better cuts and make it better for less money doesn’t matter if it is a simpler place.
