Consistently great food and service. Gordita crunch wrap w/fries & queso is a solid “go to”. Also, the chicken sandwich with okra and hopped cauliflower are great choices. And, of course, good beer. The Maul barrel aged seasonal beers are great choices – the Dubai Chocolate is particularly good.

My husband and I love to visit brewing companies locally and when we travel. Highgrain is one of the best. The beers are always delicious and there is a wide variety of choices. The food is amazing. Every time we have gone it’s been perfect. Today we had shrimp tacos and a fish sandwich which are specials for the lent season. They both surpassed our expectations. And the service is always spot on. Highgrain is truly a stand out spot to visit.

The wings were good — solid, smoky, and satisfying — but honestly, they tasted like any other wings. Nothing over-the-top or unique there. The sauces were decent, but nothing to write home about.
What really made the night was the atmosphere and the people. The place was buzzing in the best way, and the staff was super friendly. I genuinely enjoyed the interaction and energy.
The highlight for me, though, was the beer. I started with the Luscen Pilsner — light, crisp, and easy to enjoy — and then followed it up with the 2023 Neopolitan Maul, a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. As a bourbon guy, that second beer really brought it home for me. Rich, complex, and worth the trip alone.
All in all, a great vibe, excellent beers, and friendly staff. I’d come back for the drinks and the energy.

Great place for lunch. My husband got the ranch brined chicken sandwich and said was nice and crispy. I got the all american burger which was melt in your mouth delicious. The French fries were delicious. The ranch was great. The Mac n cheese was creamy. The vibe of the place is classy but chill at the same time. The saison was fresh and the Czech Pilsner was available in a side pull.

Great experience at HighGrain. Many beer options and TONS of food options. Beer cheese app was delicious. I tried all three of the sours (rhubarb, strawberry lemonade, and upside down pineapple) which were amazingly delicious. Their coffee blonde was the best coffee blonde I’ve had in a long time. Great Hefe and crisp juicy IPA. Their Ohio Hot sauce is HOTTTTT and tasty. Ranch is very dill forward. Great service and atmosphere

The service was top notch. The servers were attentive and seemed to really care about our experience. I thought there was an interesting selection of beer. I loved that they made one from pawpaws. Besides the fried okra and cheese sauce, I felt the food missed the mark. The burger was sweet and the fries were soggy. The bread on the grilled cheese was hard and the chicken and dumplings had a concentrated roasted chicken flavor that, too me was a bit overwhelming. I do want to repeat that the okra was excellent. Eat the okra!

We came for Sunday brunch and were super happy to see it wasn’t overly packed or loud. That soon changed when a large party came in and our table was dropped in favor the large group. Service from that point was slow due being over booked and the place got loud. I had higher expectations for the internal decor but you don’t and rest that stuff..
The food was excellent and beer was super tasty. The breakfast beermosa was a combo of the Heiffe and orange juice. Other interesting beer was the spruce made with fresh clippings from Cincinnati Nature center.
I will definitely go back to try more of the food and beverage options.

Vegetarian options were a bit lackluster. Battered fries were delicious. People in my group loved their Philly cheesesteaks. The space gets quite loud.

We visited high grain for trivia Tuesday and had a great time. Despite being very busy food and drinks still came out at a reasonable pace. Beer was great! Food won’t win any awards but was still delicious.
High grain itself is a clean and spacious venue. I would recommend to friends!
