I go to this starbucks often and I love it, my drink is always made with a consistent flavor. The drive thru line is always very fast even when busy. Today I met Kimani at the drive thru window. She could tell I was having a rough day, so she made jokes to lighten my mood. She even went as far as to draw me a cute little picture on reciept paper while we waited for my food. Thank you guys for being so awesome!

The service at the drive-thru window is unacceptable, specifically due to one employee—the young black woman with glasses and black and white hair. She is incredibly rude, refuses to greet guests, and frequently forgets items in the order. Her attitude is wretched and her work ethic is non-existent. It is baffling that she is employed here. She is making this Starbucks look terrible. Fix your staff.

visited the Starbucks in Lakeside, CA, after an exhausting day, and Barista Amanda’s exceptional service truly turned my day around. Her warm smile and engaging personality made me feel instantly welcome. When I inquired about her favorite drinks, she introduced me to a cortado and went above and beyond to craft the perfect beverage. Instead of the usual pump of sugar, Amanda thoughtfully recommended raw brown sugar, adding half a packet and leaving the rest for me to adjust to my taste. The result was a delightful blend of coconut milk, Blonde Espresso, and brown sugar—a drink that was nothing short of perfection. Amanda’s dedication to her craft and genuine care for customers make her an invaluable asset to Starbucks. In fact, I was so impressed that I would consider hiring her to manage teams in my own retail food service businesses. Thank you, Amanda, for turning a long day into a memorable experience!

Not coming here anymore, this has happen to many times. They will repeat your order and give you something you didn’t ask for. Today all I wanted was a grande light ice brown sugar shaken expresso with brown sugar foam, I received a cup with hardly no foam and a cup full of ice, plus they added Splenda for no reason. No matter what they repeat back to you, your order will be wrong.

On 4th of July we ordered on line and i went to pick up and lobby was closed and sign said to go thru drive thru. Their were several cars in line ordering so i was able to go ahead to pick up line which also had several cars. So it took awhile to get to window because of order prep from drive thru. Finally got to window and gave name for pick up and the guy closed and opened window with order and said i should have went to box first so they could get it ready. Anyways the point is it took too long for pick up so my ice mocha was warm.
My order probably sat there for 20-30 minutes while i had to wait at drive thru.
Not happy with experience.

8$ for a little cup of coffee that taste like cigarette butts and then 5 sips into the drink and all of your coffee is gone because most of the cup is filled at least half way with ice especially in a small size. unsatisfied 🙁 the workers are very nice though, but every time I come here the drink to ice ratio is very unpleasant.

June 2024 Sunday night- Google says open till 9pm, however CLOSED at 8.30pm! Bad info.
Mar 2022 Peppermint & Hazelnut back- but they said ‘limited time!’
Also, as mandates go away while Omicron BA.2 spreading all servers wearing masks EXCEPT window person! No mask or gloves, go figure.
Aug 2021 still no Hazelnut or Peppermint syrups! They just don’t seem to care!!! Every other Starbucks I’ve used HAVE the syrups- it is JUST this one one Wintergardens that is lackiing.
July 2021 Delta rising and back to no gloves and handing cups off with hand-to-hand contact.
Also, no mint syrup for 3 days, no hazelnut syrup for 2 days- very poor supplies management!
Nov 2020 update- underfilled by a quarter!
Aug ’20 update- Their servers are NO LONGER wearing gloves to serve! No one at this Starbucks do any more! I asked and they said no gloves was policy at that outlet— other Starbucks are STILL using gloves… FYI- gloves are still in Health Mandate.
They have, of course, wonderful drinks. I’m most impressed at how they have stepped up during the virus wars to have a pay box handy so they do not touch my card nor do I touch anything they would have to touch. In that light food is placed in a basket so we can lift it out again without touching & drinks are put inside a mug for same reasons! Very nicely thought out.
