This restaurant appears to be mostly run by a single person, which is impressive because it’s not that small!
It serves Caribbean – specifically Trinidadian food – which is something you don’t see often

I had the Jerk Chicken Sandwich – which came with a bunch of chicken pieces between coconut fry bread
The flavor on the chicken was out-of-this world. This is not a flavor profile you want if you’re used to bland food. It explosively hits you in the face with its spice and its deep level of marination. Once you take the initial hit, though, it becomes addicting – and you keep coming back for more.
This was some of the best chicken I’ve had. Every bite was practically tripping with juice; it was cooked perfectly. Like I mentioned, the flavor from the marinade was unreal.

The fry bread for the sandwich buns was interesting. I’ve never seen something like it, but it was honestly pretty cool. Being pretty thin, it provided a nice softer component to the incendiary flavors of the chicken. Didn’t taste much coconut though

For sides, we also got the aloo pies and macaroni pie. The aloo pies were decent; I thought they lacked a lot of crisp, but the sauce they came with was super good.
The macaroni pie was not very good – just way too buttery/oily with no other flavors to speak of. Pretty disappointing

The price was actually quite reasonable – my sandwich was just $12, which was a very good deal.
Overall, this is phenomenal, unique, and a great value – just skip the sides. 8.5/10

Absolutely phenomenal food. This is coming from a Trinidadian, it has been a decade since I’ve had good trini food. I tell ya I fly from my home in Asia just to try this and my goodness this restaurant is a required stop EVERYTIME I fly into Seattle now. It is rare to find a restaurant where everything is made in house. The owner Pam is a sweetheart, I felt at home in the restaurant. Trust, you need to go. I brought a friend that has never had Trinidadian food and how they are hooked. Pam thank you so much, amazing cook and wonderful atmosphere.

The food was so yummy. I loved the paratha and highly recommend the chicken curry. The cassava & coconut pone cake was delicious, but given the small size and price ($10), it is definitely overpriced.

On the night we went, there was only the cook present, so service was slow. There were no servers as well, but despite that, I would still go again because the food was worth it.

I really really wanted to love Pam’s. It was dead on Saturday night, like 3 tables. I was sat and told I could use the code menu or order through bartender. We ordered 6 beers total and an appetizer of wings. The wings were $13 and there were 4 small wings. They were delicious, but 4 wings?

In addition, we had Pam herself walk by our table 5 times, never saying hi, never bussing our plates or beer bottles and the bartender walked by 4 times in both directions without making eye contact, without checking our drinks that were empty for 20 mins and while we stayed and talked, didn’t ask if we wanted anything else until we asked for tab hours later. The atmosphere here was cool I heard, and I love when good places succeed, but the lack of service, high prices for small portions, 8.50 red stripes and dead atmosphere on a Saturday kind of doomed this trip to Pam’s.

The food here is so good! Went here the other night because it was open late and were pleasantly surprised. The jerk chicken and pork ribs were seasoned especially well. The rice and beans and the pelau were cooked perfectly. Even the sides we had, the collard greens the salad and the warm roti were all amazing.

The vibrs inside were lovely too. Definitely wanna come back for some live music. Pam was super welcoming, and gave us great recomendations. The cocktails were great too. Would definitely recomend this place!

I’ve been to Pam’s a bunch of times, and it’s always great. The jerk chicken is packed with flavor, the pork ribs are super tender, and the rice and peas are just right. Her house salad is fresh and tasty, and the cocktails are really good too.

Pam is also really friendly and welcoming. she makes you feel at home every time. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Hands down the best Caribbean food in Seattle. The flavors are incredibly authentic, rich, and made with real passion. The owner, Pam, treats you like family the moment you walk in — you can genuinely feel how much she loves what she does, and it shows in every dish. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is unforgettable, and the experience is one of a kind. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and absolutely loved it.

If you’re anywhere near Wallingford, you absolutely need to stop here. Highly, highly recommended!

Words cannot describe how good this restaurant is.

I’m Trinidadian, and this food is literally the best version of Trinidadian/Caribbean food I’ve ever had in America, and I’ve been here for about 20 years and in many different states.

The Jerk Ribs are by far the best ribs you’ll have in Seattle or outside Texas. They’re always seasoned to perfection, just the right amount of sweet and spicy, and JUICY. They literally melt in your mouth.

The woman who runs the place dearly dearly cares about making high quality and delicious food. She loves what she does and genuinely cares about her business and her customers.

Please please, if you see this review you have have to give this spot a try.
