I had the shepherd’s pie made with hash browns on top and had quite a bit of large steak chunks. The other two people had chicken meals that had large portions and they said were great. The onion petals appetizer was pretty good but I wish it was a larger portion. Prices are slightly high. Parking, like most Cracker Barrel restaurants is tight. Our waitress was fantastic EXCEPT she she charged us extra for salads that she originally said were included with the chicken meals.

We stopped in for dinner and had a solid experience. Even though the staff was clearly very busy, they did a great job staying on top of things and keeping our visit running smoothly.

The food was tasty and I appreciated that the menu offered some unique choices you don’t find at every chain. I will say the turnip greens were a tad too salty for my taste, but honestly, that’s not bad for being served all the way out here in Arizona!

The table games are always a plus to keep everyone occupied while waiting, and the kids were thrilled with the milk flavoring straws—a really fun and unexpected surprise treat.

The store at the front had tons of fun candy, treats, souvenirs and clothes. Nice to shop around waiting for a table or paying. They have goodies for everyone’s budget, and offer small priced items and expensive ones.

Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a reliable dinner in Flagstaff

Major shout out to Kyler you are truly setting the bar for excellence with regards to customer service and the services you provided our table although you face many obstacles such as the wait for the biscuits needed 30 minutes to be made and the sweet potato casserole also needed 30 minutes and there was no pecans He still did an awesome job and the food was delicious. Major shout out to Faith as you are truly setting the bar for excellence with regards to being a hostess. We appreciate the service we received from you.

I usually like cracker barrel but the experience at Flagstaff’s Cracker Barrel was HORRIBLE. We went to this place for dinner on 29th december 2025 while we were on our road trip. We were waiting at the reception for almost 20 mins. The host Brenna saw us twice but she felt comfortable ignoring us. She came after 20 mins when Hailee pointed out that they have guests waiting unattended. Brenna was was extremely rude. She did not greet us or dint even bother to look at us. She just asked how many people and left towards the table. we followed her. She dropped the menu on the table and left.
The server Kyler came to the table greeted us and started taking our order. He told us kitchen was closing soon so we must order everything at once, so we ordered food and dessert together. Half of the dishes from the menu were not available. We somehow managed to order 2 dishes of home style chicken with two sides each. When Kyler came with the food, he informed us that 2 of the sides were not available. He was kind enough to give us a complimentary soup. Then things continued to go bad. He forgot to give us knives, we had to wait for 5 mins to get knives. We had ordered a dessert Biscuit Beignet in the beginning but the server forgot to note it down and we were not able to get even that.
Overall experience was extremely disappointing and horrible. I would recommend not going to this place in the evening because the food is awful (I literally got stomach ache after eating it), service is bad and some people are rude

Love visiting Cracker Barrel when I’m traveling. Down side is simple bacon and eggs with coffee has gotten quite expensive. $25 with tip, ouch!

Passing through town on the way to Lake Powell, had to sleep in the camper after a long drive, but came here for breakfast in the morning and it was SO GOOD. I got blueberry pancakes with coffee, and it hit the spot. I dont know what they do to their pancakes but it was almost like it was deep fried a bit, tasted almost like funnel cake. I know its not the healthiest breakfast option but I was on vacation haha The coffee is good too, I like that its on the weaker side so that you can have a couple cups of it! We loved our experience so much that we stopped here on our way back home from Lake Powell too! Took a break from the long drive, and had breakfast again! Thank you Cracker Barrel for the hospitality! I can’t wait until we are back.

The absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world.

I first want to thank the staff who was working on Thanksgiving. We were traveling through the area and needed somewhere to eat dinner on the holiday. It seemed like the kitchen had run out of half of the, already limited, menu. On top of that when the food came out the edges of the Turkey were cold and the supposed Sweet Potato Casserole with pecans and brown sugar had neither in it. It was orange slop. Heard the kitchen runs out of food normally and this was not unique to Thanksgiving day. Cracker Barrel needs to either close this location or bring in totally new management before their brand is further hurt. I was told, in no uncertain terms, our family will never be eating at a Cracker Barrel again.

The pancakes were delicious — soft and fluffy. Other dishes felt a bit light, but still tasty. There’s also a great, atmospheric shop next to the café with interesting items — together it creates a cozy and pleasant vibe!

It’s a restaurant what can I say the food is good. I had the Hash brown casserole eggs bacon cheese in a skillet. Yummy seemed like it had a little more of the potato casserole, and not enough eggs though.
Matteo was our waiter, and he was very, polite. He greeted us right away, took our orders and made sure our needs were all taken care of in a timely manner.
I love going to Cracker barrel because of the shopping and food All in one place!
