We have been coming hére for years and the food is always amazing. The homemade fries are the best! We have celebrated more birthdays there than I can remember because it’s everyone’s favorite place. Casual/pub type atmosphere and they often have live music which is also fun. The kids love it too.

Today, February 24, I went in to the Woodcellar about 2:30 PM to check it out as a place for my mountain bike group to have food after a future ride.
First I walked around to make sure there were tables that would seat six and there were.
Then I sat at the bar to order a beer and food and this is where it all went bad. There appeared to be only one employee working and it took her about 7 to 10 minutes to take my beer order. She was filling up ice bins and was obviously in a rush. It would have been nice for her to say, “be with you in a minute”. That did not happen.
I was going to order a burger and got the menu, but if a beer took that long, I thought how long it would take for orders for 5 or 6 bikers. Just would not work.
Google makes one list a star rating for food, but I did not eat so I based this rating on other reviews. They like the food.
This will not be on the list of restaurants for an after the ride meal.

Came here from Denver to see a friends band play (Jammy Pac) and found that I really enjoyed the space and vibe. Bartenders were super friendly! Cozy,relaxed atmosphere when we dropped in for lunch. Our server was engaging and attentive the whole time. Everyone loved the food. I went for a simple cheeseburger pictured. The open faced burger was a large tasty portion. Don’t be fooled, the spicy wings live up to the hype. Stop in if you are around Evergreen!

I would give 5 stars for the service and live band. The draft beer was great. The food however left something to be desired. We got a spinach & grilled pineapple salad to start. It could have been much better than it was. Two sad pineapple rings and a handful of spinach, with a few other things thrown on. The sweet potato fries were good. The Ahi tuna entree was a huge disappointment. It was barely seared. I don’t mind how rare it was – we like it that way, but the whole plate was frankly, boring. And at $24 I expected a nicer, more flavorful plate. I’d go here for the music & beer and eat elsewhere.

Rochelle is our GIRL!! Best service ever ever ever! She knows what our orders are and never forgets. She makes us feel seen and always takes the BEST care of us. Wood Cellar is my happy place and Rochelle makes it even better, every Friday. And did I mention the music? We are so very lucky to live in Evergreen, near the Wood Cellar.
