My wife and I Stopped here for a late lunch. 1st. Time ever in a pepper jax. The 2 ladies were extremely helpful, friendly and patient. One even came to check on us and to see if everything was good. And it was awesome. Was so impressed with the experience and the food we talked about how this is our new go to any time we go to sioux falls. Very Good.

This place little hiding gem best Philly steak had the jalapeño cooked with juice that was awesome. Perfect just make the nose water. I like spicy. Cook right in front of you plenty of fries. Will definitely be going back. Fast. Great service.

Food was made fresh, staff were all polite and everything was clean, a few TVs on to stare at if dining in.
The -1 star was for the pic of fries, that was considered a large fry, and they make all fries to order so that is a measured amount you will always get.
All the food was really good, but I felt given the box / sandwich sizes, the fries portion could be more for a large for 2-3 people to split.
Highly recommend, but might want to order a couple large fries to feed a small family / extremely hungry people.

Food is always good. Customer service could use some TLC these days. 3 stars for service but I’ll say 4 stars because I do love the food, I’ve had mostly good experiences here, maybe just a rough day. Next time if I go there and the customer experience is the same, I will drop this review to 3 stars.
I used to go here a lot with an old coworker before he moved away because we love the “Famous Phillys” but the wife doesn’t care for it so I don’t frequent as often as I used to.
The workers were not friendly and really gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there. The two guys working were kinda quiet and left us wondering if and when they were ready for us to order. Made it a little awkward. A little “I’ll be right with you” while you clean the grill would go a long way instead of leaving us completely unaddressed. There was a woman that came up from the back, she was very short with her questions/responses and came off very rude.
In the end, they did make some great food and everything was correct.
**update: after reading some of the other reviews, I decided to downgrade to 3 stars. My bad customer experience was not a one off apparently and the rude woman I described was perfectly described in other reviews.**
I always get the Philly with everything. If you ask them to “fireball it” they hose your meat down with jalapeño juice while they cook it to give it some extra flavor and a bit of a kick. Top that off with whatever topping you like and the cayenne pepper sauce if you like spicy food. They used to have the hot sauce at the counter but all I found there was BBQ sauce but they did give me some in a little plastic container upon request. For me, the sauce really makes the Philly and brings it all together.
Overall, still love the Philly here… hope to have a better customer experience next time but based on other reviews, I won’t count on it.

Our Pepper Jax in St Cloud closed down awhile ago. It was the first place my entire family could agree on. We’ve really missed this place. It was really great to be able to have it again.

Haven’t been to a PepperJax for years. I don’t know when they changed their fries but they are terrible now. We barely got any veggies, a pinch at best, and when we asked for more they tried to charge us double for meat, too. Asked for two fries, they only made one so the one order of fries were cold by the time we ate. Don’t bother putting these guys out for sauces. They were not pleased. Really miss the sauce bar. The women’s restroom toilet was broken and splashed water when flushed. Not at all a pleasant experience for the money. Don’t bother.
